[ I have purchased 2 of these packs, one for me and one for my son. We go camping monthly with our local BSA troop and use them to carry all our gear for each campout. They will also be used for various other camping trips as they are quite adaptable for various needs and capacities. Plenty of storage, plenty of thought was put into the design and the quality is amazing. Their warranty is pretty amazing as well.

I 've had this pack for 4+ years now. I take it on a couple backpacking trips a year on average and some day hikes where I 'm carrying more than normal. It's always fit everything I need. I 've carried a large tandem packraft and paddles with it( alpacka forager). I 've hiked 30 miles of the Kesugi Ridge Trail with it. The most notable use I think was for a caribou hunt I did a couple years ago on the Denali Highway. I packed out a cow caribou including all meat and 4 quarters bone in and the hide with my other knives and day pack type gear 5 miles down a mountain side and back to the parking lot via the trail. Roughly 100lbs. No buckles broke or came undone under tension, no rips, straps worked well to keep the load secure and close to my body. It only creaked and groaned a bit under that load, but otherwise performed well especially for not being a hunting pack. I would buy again!

My torso is 17 '' so I purchased the S/M size expecting it to be on the shortest setting. I found I needed to have it just under the longest setting to fit me correctly with the middle of the hip belt on my iliac crest. I think you might be able to squeeze into this pack if your torso is 19 '' maximum. Easily the most comfortable pack I have tried on, very happy with my purchase.

[ I got the Daylite Plus to act as a compliment to my Farpoint 40 for travel. I 'm really pleased with how it can attach on the Farpoint despite not being the Farpoint - specific daypack, because this gives me a daypack with a bit more space. The main compartment holds a surprising amount of stuff for its size, and the bag is really comfortable to wear and carry. It worked really well being carried through the airport and also serving as a daybag for both around the city and campground camping. The colors are really vibrant too, which makes it look sleek and stylish. I also really appreciated how the service was quick and easy from ordering to delivery.

[ Osprey is awesome. They stand behind their warranty. I had an Aether 70 that had zipper and buckle issues, with some major wear on the straps securing the hip belt. I sent it in; they looked at it, and declared it not worthy of repairing. They sent me an updated model of the backpack I love and recycled parts from my old backpack. What an awesome company!!!

[ The stock photo does the color no justice. Absolutely beautiful green in person. High quality all around. Lots of features. Very comfortable to wear, the extendable hip belt is a game changer for me. My last back had very little cushion and didn ’ t come forward far enough for the hips, and this is the opposite. Plenty of adjustment length to fit just about everyone. Very simple to adjust the pack fit to make it work for your body. Plenty of zippers and pockets to keep various things organized Have only taken a short hike with this one so far, but with a 40 pound load it felt great. My last pack had the AG system and it was great, but this feels even better. Still able to ventilate the back area. Looking forward to my trips this year, especially now that I have this.

[ Have only taken this pack on one trek so far but it was great. Very comfortable and distributes weight nicely. I love how convient it is to access the inside of the pack with the front pouch. I did n't understand the significance of a female - specific pack until I got this one - - I had been using a 75L+ unisex/ male pack for 10+ years and it always felt just a little off. The first time putting this one on, fully loaded, for a 5 day backpacking trip, I realized what a game - changer it was. Originally I was concerned going down in size by 5L, but all the pockets and stash points make up for it. It packs much better than my previous pack and the weight is distributed better and sits on my hips more comfortably. Definitely recommend!

Just got this pack as a replacement for my very old and trusted Arial 75. Despite being a guy I got the women's as my last one was a women's and it fit me so well. I am 5' 7 '' '' and 155#. Super comfortable and easy to adjust. I have just used it so far for day backcountry skiing. It easily synched down to a small size and was narrow with no wobble for skiing in the trees. Lots of pockets, I especially like the double pockets in the lid for sorting small stuff.

I adore this pack. My mom bought the Ariel 85L for me a few years ago( 2021) for my first guiding job, and it has been my companion ever since. The pockets make it easy for me to stay organized and access a variety of gear while on the trail, and the brain turns into a little day pack. The only negative on the day pack feature is that the straps secure with plastic toggles through loops rather than buckles, so they come out when you are n't wearing the pack. This pack is super durable. I have sat on it, accidently thrown it in a beaver pond, checked it at the airport, and much more, and it has n't ripped or shown much wear yet( knock on wood of course). The water bottle pockets have a holster feature, so you can access your bottles without help and fit notebooks, maps, or fuel bottles in the top part of the pocket. I am a notorious over packer, and I can always fit everything I need and still hike comfortably with this pack. If you like ultra light this might not be your pack, but if you want to hike for a long time while staying organized and comfortable this is a great pack.

[ I bought this about a month ago and have done two backpacking trips, it is one of the best backpacks I 've owned so far. Osprey really has outdone themselves, especially with the front opening compartment. Easy access for everything and fits so many things in it as well. Easy to clean and the straps do n't hurt as bad as other brands.
5
BebeBeth
[ The Ariel Plus 85 backpack was a game changer for me. I 'm not a `` professional '' backpacker, so packing everything but the `` kitchen sink '' was a desire. Although I wound up not packing that too, I did manage to get everything I needed, and more, into this pack for a 3 night solo trip. An ultralight tent and a 4. 7 '' high sleeping pad were carried on the outside of the pack, while my mummy - style sleeping bag was in the sleeping bag compartment at the bottom of the bag. Other necessary items took up the rest of the space, with room to spare. Not only was there plenty of room in this bag, but it was incredibly comfortable. I 'm humpbacked, so not many backpacks are comfortable for me. With the adjustable torso feature, I was able to get a truly dialed - in fit and was able to hike without discomfort.

Aura
Osprey really outdid themselves with this one, thinking of every little detail for organization and packing this pack. Additionally, the suspension is great and carrying over 40% of my body weight, I felt the weight, but not the pack! I like my comfort and I do not like to be cold and I carry food for my dogs, while they carry the water, therefore, I need all of this space. The only detail that osprey does on all of their packs is that sleeping bag divider is not fully removable, just `` '' disconnect - able '' '' so you still have to carry the divider around with you adding weight and it does get in my way. I have never used it since it prevents me from stuffing every solitary nook and cranny of the bag. Also, when the bag is stuffed, I have never been able to successfully open and then re - close the bottom zipper anyway. Same with the side zippers Osprey has on most of its packs. HOWEVER, they surely did get it right with the front zippers on this pack! You can open the entire front and then re - close it even when fully stuffed! Wonderful!!! Also, the side pockets, unlike other Osprey models, really can be used and things added and taken out even when the pack is fully stuffed. I love the front organization pockets and keep things that I need handy like GPS and maps, etc in one and repellent and netting, or if it is a cold, snowy backpack, gloves and hat, in the other.

Finally a large woman's specific pack! Thank you Osprey! I have been using men's or unisex packs my whole life until last year. What a difference specificity makes! This pack is so incredibly comfortable you do n't really know you have it on. I am certain I will be able to travel more distance without fatigue with this pack. Six pounds for the M/L may seem like a heavier pack, but the infrastructure and material is worth it. This pack will be my only pack for multi day trips! Thank you.

[ Great pack. Plenty of room, well made and light weight. This is my 3rd Talon 22 pack. You might be asking why I have needed to buy a 3rd. The short answer is that I loved my first pack, but I wanted a second in a different color. Then I bought the 2nd. Unfortunately both the 1st and the 2nd Talon 22 packs where destroyed when my house burned in the Palisades Fire. Short answer, I am sold on the Talon 22.

[ Just returned from the BWCA with my Aether 65. This is a nice pack that worked well for a 4 day self supported journey deep in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota. Our trip included 5 portages with 3 having quite a bit of undulation. The pack was weighed down with 44lbs of gear and was comfortable( as much as 44lbs of gear can be, definitely dropping some weight on the next trip). I liked it because I typically start trips like this fresh and strong and have my pack set up to that posture with quick( on the fly) adjustments being made as I ’ m flagging from hiking and paddling for hours. Nice pack that is well thought out with all the features you need and none that are useless. Both of my sons were wearing the same pack with zero complaints. Nice product that ’s worth the investment.

Fits comfy and the pockets are located in great spots. Does n't feel cheap and has yet to cause any issues for me. Carries comfortably due to the metal wire loop frame and stretch fabric on the persons back. You will be the envy of your group. Even has a rain fly for those that do n't live in California. Whew!

[ Have only taken this pack on one trek so far but it was great. Very comfortable and distributes weight nicely. I love how convient it is to access the inside of the pack with the front pouch. Only complaint is the water bottle pocket - it ’s very difficult to get a 1. 5 liter Nalgene in and out when the pack is full.

[ Bought this a few weeks ago for a backpacking trip to Olympic National Park and it ’s been great so far! I ’ m a 5 ’ 9 ” woman with athletic/curvy build. Thoughtful compartments, detachable smaller pack, built in rain cover, and seems pretty lightweight to me. I love the green color of the pack and the neon green color of the rain cover. My other pack is a 45 Osprey from 4 years ago and this frame seems more supportive/better padded.

I have enjoyed using this pack for a couple proper backpacking trips and used it for city traveling. Plenty of storage, loads of adjustments for your comfort, nice design and materials and finally multiple ways to load the pack make this a great choice.

My girlfriend ordered the extended fit for me not because I 'm morbidly obese but because my shoulders are 3x the size of the normal person. I have a bodybuilder frame and she decided to give it a go. Just wow fits my shoulders perfectly with a lot of extra room if I decide to go on a McDonald's and deep fried Twinkie diet. I always get the heaviest bag because my girlfriend ca n't handle more than 25lbs. My bag was around 60lbs on a 3 day hike. Comfort all day and room to spare!

[ I bought this a month ago and took it on a backpacking trip in Oregon. The support, the adjustments, and the pockets everywhere made this such a great bag! I was able to carry twice the weight my husband was because the weight distribution was so good. The zippers are durable, so I could pack a lot of stuff without being too worried. I also was able to use the detachable day - pack for days in the city. I 'm an XS/S in this pack, and I brought it as a carry - on on two large airlines, which was an added bonus.

Last year I joined climbing club but I didn ’ t have backpack. Therefore, I borrowed the pack from the club. It wasn ’ t suitable... I started to find a nice one in many stores. However, the size of packs in stores were too big. With my dad ’s help I bought this backpack on the Internet!!! I finally have it now!!!! Though I can ’ t go climbing recently since COVID - 19, I ’ m still looking forward to try it in the future!!

[ I am an Osprey girl for life! The airspeed mesh back is a must! I hiked with a standard Stratos24 for 10 years. I went to a shop to try on new packs and the Sirrus fits like a dream! The extra pockets are in the right places!

I have two other Osprey packs and love the women - specific features. I bought this Sirrus for casual hiking and walking to town for groceries and other supplies. I got the right fit after watching a Youtube that showed that the hipbelt pad in front should be centered over the pelvic bone - not above it as I had incorrectly done. The torso adjustment `` ladder '' is a nice feature. I am 5' 7 '' and measured my torso at 15. 6 '', and found the second shortest adjustment to work the best at keeping the shoulder straps from riding up. This is really a comfortable and well fitting pack for me.

[ It's light enough for me to use for small loads and big enough for me to carry a few days worth of stuff as well. I like the access options to the main compartment so I can pack items in the most accommodating way with weight where I want it but not having to unpack just to access whatever is on the bottom. Osprey quality so the only precaution I take while it's getting moved out of my hands is fasten all the clips and tuck excess strap material. I appreciate the integrated rain cover more than I thought I would. I already do recommend the pack to buddies and I would buy it again.

First time Osprey customer and I purchased this based on size, looks and comfort. I used this pack on an overnight hike up a strenuous 6km up hill, through waist deep snow in places. It carried the 40 - 50lbs well, the hip strap with the wire takes a lot of the weight off the shoulders. It has lots of adjustability and many pockets. I like the fact that you can unzip the front and access items in the bottom without having to unpack everything. Two side pockets that fit larger sized water bottles( Nalgene 1L) The SM/Med fits my 5'10 medium sized frame well. Osprey has gained a lifelong customer

[ What a gorgeous little bag. I owned the original Tempest 20 and it took almost 15 years of everyday hard use to kill it. This new Tempest has everything that I loved about the original with the hip pockets for small items, large water bottle pockets and super comfortable. It ’s great for day hiking or a single overnight trip, or just everyday life. Here ’s to another 15 years!

[ I have traveled to several continents and used the water bladder and pack for day hiking. It is very comfortable and the weight is distributed around my waist. The hiking poles are strapped on the side of the pack. The lining started to peel and osprey replaced the entire pack. Thank you for a very good pack for my adventures.

[ I love the waist belt on this pack, really stays up on my hips and does n't slip. The large compartment for your stuff is spacious, but if you 're not carrying much you can still cinch it down. Sits comfortably on my shoulders and has several places to adjust for the most comfortable fit.

Spent three months backpacking in Europe upon my retirement, at age 65, with this wonderful Osprey backpack! We traveled in all kinds of weather and used all modes of transportation! Also, have been backcountry camping in Canada, California, and Colorado! She still looks new after a busy 10 years on and off the trails! I am currently looking to downsize to a smaller Osprey backpack…walking the Camino in a few months! Only an Osprey works for me!!

I 've had this pack since 2006. It's been on many adventures with me, from backpacking in Canyonlands to training hikes in Teluride to travel through Taiwan. For several years, I used this bag for grocery shopping and going to the laundry mat, when it was often 70 pounds. It's so comfortable that even fully loaded, I can easily dance while wearing it. This pack has survived bear attacks, rain storms, deserts, baggage handlers, and having its capacity tested endlessly. After 15 years, I 've noticed the first sign of wear - a small tear in a seam. I 'm happy with the longevity of the product, and I 'm heartened that I can send it to Osprey for a professional - level repair for just the cost of one - way shipping. The All Mighty Guarantee is one reason I 'm so loyal to Osprey - they did a fantastic job repairing bear damage, and they quickly sent me a set of replacement buckles after I damaged one of mine. I love how comfortable the hip belt and harness are, partly thanks to the high degree of adjustability. If it every gets lost or stolen, I will happily buy the same bag. I barely notice my bag while I 'm hiking, meanwhile my hiking buddies complain about how uncomfortable their similarly priced non - Osprey packs are, or say how happy they are to get them off. I do n't mind how the weight gets divided on group trips, because I know my pack can handle adding on the tent, carrying more than my share of food, and having a few liters of extra water. If you 're looking for a comfortable bag that you can use in a range of circumstances for decades to come, look no further than the Osprey Ariel.

[ My Atmos AG 65 was a replacent for my 10 year old Atmos backpack. After 10 years the old pack started `` delaminating '', I guess it is called, when the coating inside starts to peel. I was happily surprised when Osprey replaced the pack under their all mighty guarantee. I really liked my old Atmos for the ventilation on the back and for the pockets. I am finding I like the Atmos AG even more. It fits me better and carries very well for me. It is not nearly as light as my Kakwa, but the convenience of the pockets, the airflow for my back, and just the general feel of the weighted pack will keep it relevant and useful for many years to come. I expect this pack will not spend much time hanging in the closet.
5
Jason B.
[ This is a replacement pack. I got my first Atmos pack in 2007, which I absolutely loved. This pack is even better - more comfortable straps and overall better ergonomics. I have not yet had it out on the trail, but I am very excited for this summer.

I ’ ve taken this backpack to two different 30 day trips. And I have been through every single situation, terrain( minus snow), 10+ flights( a few made made check in bag) camped, hiked, walked through beaches, visited hostels. Hours in airports and this backpack is A beast. I stuff the heck out of this bag. It packs like a 50L. The top most pocket is so big. Can fit a toiletry bag and more. Still looks new, quality is superb. Passport fits perfectly in hip pockets and snacks and earbud case. Very light and comfortable. My bag was roughly 25 - 40 pounds at all times. Perfect for long trips( 10+ days)

This is a great pack for both car and airline travel. I pack smart with packing compressors packing cubes but I wouldn ’ t say I pack light and I had plenty of space. The waist belt allows me to comfortably carry this pack through the airport. The straps stow easily and it fits in the overhead bin.

[ This backpack is great for traveling, especially on a flight. The adjustable straps make it a perfect companion for your back if you ’ re like me and can never find a perfect fit in packs. The straps can be hidden with a zippable cover that is stowed away in a pocket at the bottom of the pack as well. My favorite part of this bag is that the hip belt is durable and comfortable so it makes carrying it easy.

My torso is 17 '' so I purchased the S/M size expecting it to be on the shortest setting. While I bought this with the intentions of using it as a gym bag, I 've yet to find my way to a gym, but nonetheless, this bag is going to be perfect when I do eventually make it.

This bag is great. As a mobile caregiver in hospital setting, I take it to work with me and since being pregnant with unexpected happenings, it carries all my personal items. I keep my keys, pens, water bottle, snacks in there too. It's durable. Functional. I plan to carry my pumping parts when I return to work. My only wish is that it came in a bigger size like 30L. But other than that, this bag is everything.

Perhaps the best backpack Nike has never made. Within a span of 4 years I ’ ve collected two with a third on the way. Well engineered and stitched together. I ’ ve use it as a personal carry bag, hauled it through congested city streets on two continents and multiple cities and even used a gym bag with all sorts of gear and at most two pairs of shoes comfortably. The side pockets can hold two 32 ounce vacuumed sealed water bottles without any issues. The top small pocket intended for sunglasses has enough ample space for additional items like headphones and a case for glasses. Fully loaded I ’ ve ever had one of these backpacks is at most 45 pounds. Shoulder straps are wide and really comfortable. The adjustability of the shoulder straps is effortless. The addition of the sternum strap gave more stability for heavier loads. The MOLLE style attachment points makes this bag even more versatile to add more items to the face and sides of this bag and has came in clutch many times over. It ’s over built enough for many years of extensive use. They ’ re a bunch of key features I ’ m forgetting but overall you can not go wrong with this bag. Definitely worth it ’s weight in gold!

Got these mesh style back packs specifically to transport the grandsons dirty - stanky football practice gear. You all know that smell when it they are stored in a enclosed bag for too long when you do n't get to them right away. These bags help alot with that issue. Thanks UA

[ This is a great pack! I use it to hold all my pickleball equipment. It is spacious enough to hold all my paddles, shoes, clothing, etc. Is it overkill for pickleball? Absolutely! But I love Osprey! This pack will last me for years!

I was in the market for a gym bag, but wanted something other than those trendy cotapaxi bags everyone seems to carry around. It was by a fluke that I came across the Zealot series, which makes sense considering it's a new design. After watching the product video, I was convinced to get this bag. I definitely am a fan of the separate compartment for shoes with even enough room to place my chalk bag. Definitely saves the hassle of dusting off items you do n't want chalk on such as a tablet or food. The bag is sleek in its design, making it easy for edc. Now to test its limits for a full day with sport climbing.
