I 've had this jacket for several years, use it as a steelhead guide on the Clearwater River. I absolutely love it. I bought a G3 jacket last year and while it's also a great jacket, I find myself still using my old Guide Classic everyday. I just like the way it feels for some reason, and it has been used! I 'm 6' 1 '', 215 and the XL fits great, but remember, this jacket is probably 5 years old. I 'm guessing I wear it at least 100 days a year.

This coat fits good, comfortable. A lot of people do n't like the longer sleeves, I like that they are a little long. I always have trouble finding long enough sleeves. This jacket is more than I could have hoped for. I operate a snowplow at a ski resort at night during storms clearing parking lots. When I get out of the tractor into what is frequently a howling blizzard, this keeps me warm, sealed and protected. It's loose enough that I can wear layers underneath if it's really cold and the whole thing is lined with nylon so there is no binding at all. The hood and zipper come up to just the right place on my chin to be functional without hindering. And when it's wet snow or rain, it runs right off and I stay dry. Amazingly comfortable. There is nothing about this jacket that I do n't like. Bravo Carhartt!
