I found an online article comparing choices and I chose to try these due to the removable sides, the weight of the glasses, their multi- use design( water& snow sports) and mid range price point. Note that the all black version does NOT come with the side shields. I discovered this after I first tried the black. But I ’ m actually much happier with the look of the smoke frames with mirror lenses. The smoke is not as stark a look. I ’ m a female with medium to large female head and these fit well and look good on me. They may be big for women with smaller heads. They are so light that I barely feel them. Which is important when I ’ ll be wearing for extended periods on the water. Even with a hat on, they felt comfortable on my ears.
