I ’ ve been using the Metcon 6 for a while, and the Metcon 7 is definitely a noticeable upgrade. The fit feels more snug and secure, and overall it ’s more comfortable without losing stability for lifting. It still performs great during weight training, but now has a bit more flexibility and cushioning, which makes it better for mixed workouts and moving around the gym. The design is also cleaner and more modern the 6 was solid, but the 7 feels more refined all around and is definitely worth it.

I fell in love with the Free Metcon line when the 5 released. I didn ’ t think anything would beat the 6s, but I really LOVE the increased heel cushioning on these. They ARE narrower and snug in the toe box so I returned the first pair and re- ordered a half size up and they are PERFECT now. Super happy with the purchase and would highly recommend these.

I was not a fan of previous iterations of the Pegasus, but Nike hit a Chord with the Peg 41. These are the most comfortable and durable trainers I have ever worn in my years of running. Wow, these may be my favorite training shoes ever. I have worn standard Pegasus for years and always found they lacked a little cushioning. I have raced in Vaporflys but felt that they lacked stability. The Pegasus Premiums seems like the perfect blend of the two, with great springiness and cushioning but also with good stability. Not light, but not too heavy either. Size seems to be true for me, 12 as always. My only complaint is that the show is expensive for a training shoe, hopefully it holds up better than the Vaporflys at this price.

The bounce is incredible. The give is maybe a hair soft if you ’ re 210 lbs or above. I wouldn ’ t worry so much about stability. These are for running in a straight line, not for basketball. The shoes do squeak after a few wears. If you had to pick one, these are better than the Vomero premium for a couple of reasons: they ’ re more sleek, and the cushioning is more supportive and bouncy with energy return. Vomero Premium leaves you falling back on the heels. I ’ d buy another pair.

I love this shoe so much, the compression of the full length air unit is amazing, it's incredibly comfortable and gives you just enough pop to keep moving even when your legs are just a bit tired and sore. It's also pretty heavy which is great for training on easy runs since it makes running in a lighter shoe feel even easier and more efficient. This shoe also helps build efficiency on easy runs too, helping you maintain proper form and giving good feedback throughout the foot strike and through each stride. I will say however the shoe is not the most stable partly due to stack height and partly due to the air unit, so anyone who has ankle issues, specifically posterior tibial tendon issues may want to be careful using this shoe, since it's potentially easier to unintentionally over pronate. That being said I 've had no issues with it as someone who typically wears a neutral shoe. This shoe is also durable and has great traction, but it would be a poor choice to run on dirt/ gravel or anywhere where sharp rocks are present since it could damage the exposed portion of the air unit. Overall I ca n't say enough good things about this shoe, when used for the right purpose I really do n't think there's any better option out there, it's very unique and extremely enjoyable to run in.

Played my first 18 yesterday and no aches or sore spots feet felt good, they seem very stable and had very good traction. Must breath well as my feet were not all sweaty and my socks were dry( it was over 90 degrees), will test how waterproof they are in a few days with an early AM round and the heavy dew.

Probably my number one shoe for max cushion, lightweight, and still quick enough for marathon long runs. Not the fastest shoe like a racer, but fine for threshold and slower. I ’ d choose it over Vomero Plus, Nimbus, Superblast 3( which I actually returned), and would consider it even with Megablast depending on more comfort( this) or lighter and speedier( Megablast). I use the Evo SL Woven for my faster runs.
