I was sick of using traditional EWG hooks for throwing worms/craws/creature baits, because they would constantly slip down the hook. So I started trying twist lock swimbait hooks. VMC makes a solid hook at a crazy affordable price. Hook has been working great and I have not bent any. Still as sharp as the day I bought it.

I throw these only on braided line. Great hook up ratio and really strong wire hook. Have not bent any out. I use the 3/0 and 4/0. I do n't use them for swimbaits, but for plastic creature baits and worms. Gives them a faster sink rate due to the thicker gauge wire.
