I 've been using these and found them extremely durable. ... Paddle tail has great movement. ... Very durable ... These Slim Swimz are nice for a smaller profile. ... Good subtle tail

As with all Zman ElaZtech baits these are tough, and they catch fish. Late fall fishing, and the large mouth want a smaller presentation. I put the 3 '' in baby bass on a 1/6oz finesse bulletz, and was the only one at the pond catching fish. I caught a couple right around 1 lb, a couple of dinks, and one just shy of 2 lbs( it weighed 1lb 15oz).
5
MikeC2
Zman baits are great. ElaZtech is tough. These Slim Swimz are nice for a smaller profile. Good subtle tail action. Caught a fish on second cast. Will be picking up more in the future. May be a while as a pack of these will last for a little while.

Really like this new color with green pumpkin and blue. Mimics a wide array of forage the bass feed on.

This is one of the best swimbaits I 've ever used- and I 've used a lot. The action is excellent and the colors were perfect to match my lake's baitfish. Used primarily on Smallmouth, I 've caught large and small on it. I bought 4 more packages after the first purchase.

I wasn ’ t sure if I would like these because the tail is just like a swimbait but it turns out it ’s actually it ’s strength. The bait has a good body roll and the tail has a good kicking movement. They even work great for trailers on spinnerbaits and swimjigs. I ’ ve even heard they make a great wacky rig bait! Haven ’ t tried that yet but I can imagine it works.

5
LipRipper82
Great lure for Lake Michigan Smallies. I gave a 5 star review but it is more like 4. 5 stars. My only complaint would be that they are very heat sensitive. They will melt on you if you leave them in your hot trunk or hot bag. BUT.... They do hold up well to multiple catches per bait. And hold up well to being dragged across sharp, rocky bottom structure. Just keep them out of the heat and you will be good to go!

But, these are great jig heads for fishing in weedy areas. ... Hooked on solid. ... I 've been using this with a small TRD and it's been nothing but solid. ... Hooks are sharp, and the rig was able to get through most weeds
5
MikeC2
The pics here are not correct. This is the pro bulletz in the pics. The finesse bullets do not have the big bulbous weight. But, these are great jig heads for fishing in weedy areas. I put a Z- Man Trick Shots Bad Shad on a 1/6 ounce size, and was slaying the bass at a local pond. Hooks are sharp, and the rig was able to get through most weeds easily. Only got hung up in some really heavy grasses a couple of times, but I was able to get out without losing, or even damaging, any tackle.
5
Sfpp
This is great. Until I bought this I have n't seen a weedless hook for z- man trd. Getting snagged was about the only down side to the trd z- man ned rigs. I 'm happy to have them now.
5
Murph042
I hate finesse fishing. I get bored. I like to cover water and power fish. That said, this combined with a Z Craw has been awesome. I can drag and hop this and still cover water. I ’ m catching a lot of bass with this setup.

Best weedless swimbait I have fished. It will catch Largemoutth, Smallmouth, Northern Pike, and Warmouth Perch. I use 25lb fluorocarbon leader with a swivel and tied to braid. I fish in heavy weed cover without snags.

This swimbait has very good action. I also use the another FAT swimbait and the 6th sense swimbait has great action, as well. It is a little more stiff( but not too much) so it has faster tail swing action than the keitech. Definitely will be more in the future.

When the saucy swimmers came out, I thought, why not give them a try. I 'm glad did. Nothing is the scent something the fish seem to lock on to, they are extremely durable. I used to use strike king rage swimmers and they were decent, but if I can catch on 6- 7 fish per bait on average with the googan baits, versus 2- 3 with strike king its a no brainer. I live in Florida and electric shades is the color of choice for me. Buy them 3 packs at a time and save. Want to save more? I use it on a variety of swim baits. I like it because I can add trailer hooks.
A finesse swimbait is a type of soft plastic lure designed to mimic the movement of baitfish in the water. These lures are typically smaller and more streamlined, making them ideal for targeting finicky fish in clear or pressured waters. Anglers use finesse swimbaits by casting them out and retrieving them with a slow, steady motion, allowing the natural action of the bait to attract fish. They can be rigged in various ways, such as on a jig head or a weighted hook, to suit different fishing conditions and techniques.
When selecting a finesse swimbait, consider the size and shape, as these factors can influence how the bait moves through the water and attracts fish. Look for materials that provide a realistic feel and action, enhancing the bait's effectiveness. Additionally, color and finish can play a significant role in visibility and appeal to fish in various water conditions. Finally, ensure the swimbait has a suitable hook design for secure attachment and effective presentation.
Finesse swimbaits are typically smaller and more streamlined than traditional swimbaits, making them ideal for targeting finicky fish in clear water or pressured environments. They often feature a more subtle action and are designed to mimic smaller baitfish, which can be more appealing to fish that are less aggressive. Additionally, finesse swimbaits are usually rigged on lighter tackle, allowing for a more delicate presentation that can entice bites when other lures may not be effective.
Finesse swimbaits are well-suited for a variety of fishing environments, particularly in clear or lightly stained waters where fish may be more cautious. They excel in areas with structure, such as submerged rocks, vegetation, or drop-offs, as these locations often attract predatory fish. Additionally, finesse swimbaits can be effective in both freshwater and saltwater settings, making them versatile for anglers targeting species like bass, trout, or inshore saltwater fish. Their subtle action and realistic appearance can entice fish in pressured waters where more aggressive lures may not be as effective.
Finesse swimbaits are typically made from soft plastic materials that provide a realistic feel and action in the water. These materials often include durable, flexible compounds that allow for lifelike movement, mimicking the swimming motion of baitfish. Some swimbaits may also incorporate added scents or colors to enhance attraction. The design often features a streamlined shape to improve casting distance and reduce drag in the water.
Choosing the right size finesse swimbait depends on several factors, including the type of fish you are targeting and the fishing conditions. Generally, smaller swimbaits are effective for catching panfish and smaller species, while larger sizes can attract bigger fish. Consider the water clarity and the size of the baitfish in the area, as matching the size of your swimbait to the local forage can enhance your chances of success. Additionally, experimenting with different sizes can help you determine what works best for your specific fishing situation.
Finesse swimbaits are designed to mimic the natural movement of baitfish, making them effective for attracting various fish species. Their subtle action and smaller profile can entice fish that may be wary of larger lures, increasing your chances of a successful catch. Additionally, these swimbaits often feature realistic colors and textures, enhancing their appeal in different water conditions. This versatility allows anglers to target specific species more effectively, adapting to their feeding habits and preferences.
Yes, finesse swimbaits can be used in both freshwater and saltwater fishing. These versatile lures are designed to mimic the movement of baitfish, making them effective in various aquatic environments. When selecting a finesse swimbait, consider the specific conditions and target species to ensure optimal performance. Many anglers appreciate their adaptability for different fishing scenarios.
When using finesse swimbaits for fishing, effective techniques include a slow and steady retrieve to mimic the natural movement of prey. Anglers often employ a drop-shot rig or a jig head to keep the bait near the bottom, allowing for subtle twitches that can entice bites. Additionally, varying the speed and incorporating pauses can help trigger strikes from more cautious fish. Experimenting with different depths and water conditions can also enhance your success with finesse swimbaits.
Finesse swimbaits can be particularly effective during certain times of the year, especially in the spring and fall when fish are more active and feeding. During these seasons, fish often target smaller prey, making finesse swimbaits a suitable choice. Additionally, they can be useful in warmer months when fish are more selective and may prefer a subtle presentation. Adjusting your technique and presentation based on water temperature and fish behavior can enhance your success with finesse swimbaits.
