Purchased the Pit Boss 700 and then across the cover for it. Was very pleased with the quality of the cover when it arrived. Not like most covers I 've used the in past that are light and flimsy. So far it's held up to the cold, wind and UV we have in the Four Corners area. Side note- great grill also, like the features of the Pit Boss Pellet grill that have n't seen on competitive models.

Be careful removing the probes from your meat, if you slip and end up pulling the wire you end up buying a set. Although the response was great and I had my replacement in 3 days.

One of the main reasons I purchased the Pit Boss was the two meat probes that came with the cooker. I have used a Big Green Egg cooker since 1987. Although I like the heavy smoke flavor, my wife does not. We have been pleased with our purchase. Brisket is my favorite. My method is simple with great results. I use a 50/50 mix of salt and pepper and a generous portion of brisket rub on the fat side, cook until temp reaches 155, double wrap with foil, apply liberal amount of apple juice, and cook for 2 hours. I have cooked 4 briskets in 4 weeks and have not been disappointed. KISS works. I have had my cooker for about 4 weeks.

I bought two boxes because they look kind of skinny online. NOPE, they are full size boxes of paper, so I have it for daaaays now. That's ok. It's a good thick quality but not so thick that it's hard to fold up. It's also not waxed so you can use it for wrap. Unless you are smoking enough for an army, you only need one box for now.
