I never liked Birkenstocks that much until I saw this platform design. When I tried them on in white. I found them to look so cute on and very comfortable. The sole was a little stiff for me at first but they softened after a couple wears. I typically wear a size 6 but I tried on size 5 as well. I was more comfortable with the 6. If in between sizes, sizing down is probably best.

Bought these in light pink color not color shown here. Have worn these several times since purchase. Footbed typical Birkenstock. Higher platform a little different getting used to than the regular Birkenstock sandals. Comfortable enough after wearing the few times that I 've worn them. Do n't think that I would wear to walk a long distance though. Regular flat ones are better suited for that! I usually wear a 7 in shoes/sneakers etc but in Birkenstock/Papillio I always wear a 37/6- 6. 5 which is what I purchased. Overall happy with purchase.

After the gym I put a skirt or tunic on over my leggings put these boots on and go about my day. They fit true to size. I 'm a 7. 5 to 8 in Fallen, Black and 8 fits great. I have a very high instep which these boots accommodate and I can slip them on without using my hands to pull them on. I love that about these boots.
