Bought the lure to augment an offshore trolling spread consisting of surface and near- surface lines. Fished the plug on 20- pound trolling outfit, with 12- foot 150- pound mono leader, run about 100 feet down the middle. The plug pulls hard when trolled at 7 to 8 knots, but digs down and swims well, even at that speed-- although anglers should be warned that at that speed, a 20 is about as light as you can go, as the lure will take line off the reel if anything less than 7 pounds of drag is used. Primary target for the lure was dolphin( mahi- mahi), which hit it well when not showing on the surface; the plug drew a strike from my largest mahi of the 2018 season.

Used to use Tiny/Baby Torpedos and thought I had the killer lures for bass on my favorite water. Have n't had the success I wanted lately as the propellers did n't always spin. Last summer I watched a video on Youtube of a guy killing smallies with a `` Whopper Plopper '' so I decided to give one a try. I bought the 90 perch and 90 pac- man. First afternoon out with these lures I caught 10 bass. That was my best day ever on this water. Two were 3 lbs plus; all were respectable sizes.( See picture) Just purchased three more: Bluegill, Frog, and 28 Bluegill. Gon na buy the T1000 and Chub( Yoda) next. May go up a size to see if they produce even bigger fish. Ca n't wait till the spawn to kill 'em again!!!!

I recently purchased a pac- man and bluegill lure. My second cast along the bank( first was straight in front just to see the action) landed a 1. 5- 2lb bass. Within the next dozen casts I had reeled in two more that were equal in size. It may not be the prettiest of lures in my kit, but it works.

Bought a month ago when I saw a buddies double digit large mouth he caught with it. Landed some nice bass with it and a crappie dinner. Bought the smaller one for my fly vest for evening lake trout in the Smokies and Smith Mountain. Great bait, great action, good luck to all. The cricket works well also. Fish on! The Apex Dicks ca n't be beat. Great service all over the store from the time you walk in to you checkout. Rather go to to the lodge and hang out with those guys than be bled to death at the theater.
