[ These are n't boots that you can take out of the box and go for a backpacking hike, they will need broke in first. When I first put these boots on they felt great, I went for a 2 mile hike and my feet were hurting. It took me about 10 miles, 2 per day, to get to where they felt good, now I love them. These are my 4th pair of Keens, I have been wearing the Steel Toe Pittsburg for work and love them too. The wife was soo convinced that she bought a pair of low top Targhee Vent, she loves them also.

I bought mine almost 3 years ago and they 're the most comfortable and useful footwear I 've ever owned. I wear them 95% of the time, on daily 2+- 4 km dog walks, outdoors, year- round and they 're at their peak look and feel. The single possible improvement I made- and that's on me because we have 4 months of winter here- is to replace the soles; the originals are quite tricky on frozen ground. Or a great workout, just watch your head yeah? I chose Vibram, a quick fix and better suited for that.

Easily, this is the best pair of work boots I 've ever purchased. I work in IT and while it may sound like I sit at a desk behind a computer screen, I assure you, I am climbing, squatting, lifting, pulling, in cramped quarters, outside, on roof tops, in dirty crawl spaces... All in the PNW, so rain is a constant concern and not only are these incredibly comfortable but they 're sturdy, allowing me to feel confident that my boots will hold up under whatever pressure I put on them, keeping my feet, warm and dry. Buy a half a size lower for slip- ons and you 'll never have to worry about them getting too loose from wear and tear over time. I have two pairs now, the black pair and now the brown ones. I 'll wear Georgia Boots until they have to pry them off of my cold, dead, feet. Also, I just really like the clean look of the high tops. D@ mn fine boots. D@ mn fine.

Very Comfortable, strong! I will only purchase Cleats that have riveted soles. Glue on soles do not last especially with the heat of the turf fields in FL. The glue melts and the sole starts to seperate from the shoe. Riveted soles are the way to go
