I have found them to be in terrific working order and have n't seen the need to replace anything just yet. Very comfortable, perfect fit/size and I would suggest wearing them with thicker socks especially until you have broken them in and stretched them out a bit. Very happy with my purchase online!

A lot of the reviews say to buy a size smaller, but I just bought a 9 women's( I 'm typically an 8- 9 normal shoes, and an 8 in men's skates) and they fit pretty well. While there's definitely some extra room, I laced them a bit tighter and they fit perfectly. The boot goes about an inch or two more up your leg than average rink rental skates, so they have more support and feel more `` attached '' to your leg. The toe stops are pretty large and flat( not peg- shaped), so it's really easy to slow down or stop. They do weigh 7. 5 pounds total, so be prepared for a workout. Because of that, it may also be harder to sustain high speeds unless you 're really working at it, but it's been easier for me to stop or slow down quickly. Overall, they feel very sturdy and strong, they do n't hurt my feet or give me blisters, and they roll very nicely. No adjustments required; I skated on them for a few hours immediately after opening the box. They worked very well on the smooth concrete sidewalks at the park, but rolled a little bit easier and faster at the indoor skating rink, so be advised. I ordered them on a Friday; they took about 5 business days to ship. I had to call to change my address while the order was in route, and the customer service representative was very helpful. Overall, great product.

It amazes me how much better you can skate owning your own pair of skates rather then renting them at the roller rink. My Grandsons skating improved 100% within one night of skating with these new skates. You figure the average rate to rent skates is about 4. 50 per night. After searching through local sports stores, at the rink, big box stores and websites, we finally chose the Chicago boys rink skates for our 4 and 1/2 year old grandson. They are easy to get on and off, support his ankles, and glide smoothly around the basement floor. They are also suited for the indoor roller rink, which he will be going to soon for a party. He uses them to play roller hockey. Although the shoe is a vinyl, it looks and feels almost like leather-- too bad they still are n't made with leather. We purchased them two sizes bigger than he wears for growth. He wears long sports socks over his regular socks, and that works fine. I would recommend these skates over others that we found at big box stores.

If I could rate it with half stars I would give 4. 5 stars. I love that the size of the skates can change but my almost 3 year old has big feet so he is already using them with the biggest size. So he will outgrow them quickly. I love that these come with the protective pads so he is safe while using these skates. He still needs to learn how to balance even with the learner mode but with practice I ’ m sure he will get better! Great product and very innovative! I bought these for my kiddo in March 2020 for something to do during pandemic times when schools were shut and there was no recess or PE. My kid uses these still at least once per week if not more. I 've changed the wheels, but not because they fell apart, just because we wanted softer ones for outdoor skating. I 'll start with the not great part first. Break in period was tough- probably b/c prior to this, I have n't skated since the Mighty Ducks franchise was in theaters. Once broken in, these babies fit like a perfectly- worn glove and they perform like Kobe in the clutch. Agile, fast, smooth, and supportive, my Twister XTs are BY FAR the best skates I 've ever worn. I have used Lightning TRSs, Twisters, and Maxxums for the last 30 years. This is the best skate ever for Skate to Ski. It ’s stiffer than other skates so the support is outstanding. Just getting back into rollerblading after a 20yr hiatus. There aren ’ t any local shops that carry them, so I had to gamble with getting correct size. If you have wide feet like me, I ’ d recommend going a size above your shoe size. I wear US 13 wide shoes, so I ordered 14 skates and they feel really good. There ’s also insole inserts included to increase the vertical tightness a 1/2 size. I haven ’ t used them yet. My biggest concern was toe cramping from having wide feet. These skates are awesome and the wheels and bearings are really solid for a stock setup. They are fast. I got an adrenaline rush and went too fast and wrecked without pads and helmet. My first baptism into the reality of skating. Make sure to at least where some wrist guards if you are a beginner or returning after many years.

These twisters arrived today and they are very pretty!! well done!! my observation for others: 1. I am size 10/28cm in my usual shoe; I was unsure whether to choose 10/10. 5 or 11/11. 5!! I chose 10/10. 5 and they are perfect, they are super comfortable, I went out of the house and at what speed they take they look like a rocket!! I have 21 years without skating, I am 33 years old, I think I made a good choice in this 3- wheel model, everything is practice, the good thing is that I have a notion of skating!! My foot is normal to a little narrow, I would n't recommend it for people with wide feet... it says on the box that it comes with an Allen wrench but it did n't come with it:(,, it comes with an insole included which would be your size 10, if you remove it it reaches 10. 5.. it comes with 2 red/black braids.. I feel like you should bring your Allen wrench and a small oil for the bearings!!

I did extensive research on a set of Urban Blades and ended up grabbing these ones. The pricepoint is worth the quality! I 'm happy to review as it's hard to find female reviewers in this community! The Boots fit great. I read so many reviews that these boots run small and the recommendation was to size up. I wear a size 9 in Tennis shoes and got the 9/9. 5. They fit great no matter if I have thin or thick set of socks on. They are pretty lightweight, but feel extremely supportive in the frame and boot. The laces and straps will keep your foot/ankle locked in for maximum support and speed! Be warned-- these Skates are FAST! I was an avid blader in my teens and just decided to pick it back up at 29! I 've been skating streets and sidewalks and the skates really handle the different textures of concrete. I did install the brake that came with it and have a goal to remove it by Friday( will officially be one week back into blading). These skates can handle Tstops, power glides/stops-- you name it! The hydrogen wheels are pretty dreamy and smooth. I feel like these skates are responsive and do n't feel out of control at all. So much thought went into the engineering of this product and I 'm thrilled I was able to grab a pair. I LOVE them and skate every day. I have bought these skates like one year and a half ago, and I just love these skates they have n't broken and I haven never had any issues with them if your going to get skates and you a beginner these are perfect ones to start with. If you are wondering why I 'm back on the site after one and a half years it's because I 'm planning on buying these skates again for my mother and I since my mother want some skates and I need new ones( I have gone up 2 shoe sizes since I last got my skates). So I would really recommend these skates.

Wanted to get into inline skating as a low impact exercise. Was in my teens last time I did. Running is too hard on the knees. These are great for the price. The wheels are HUGE and great for outdoor skating. I would n't recommend for beginners. Get smaller wheels if you 're just learning. Only downside so far is the straps tend to not stay tight. They loosen very easily. I 'm 6' 6 with 13 size shoe. These are true to size. Wearing these 195mm wheels and I 'm over 7' tall which is a long way to fall. Make sure you get safety gear as these have no brake.

I bought these because I needed rollerblades that would do well on uneven sidewalks and/or rocks/pebbles on the road. I figured with the big wheels, that would help... and I was right! They are very sturdy, comfortable and fantastic quality. The only cons I ’ ve come across are that they ’ re not very agile and feel a little clunky and heavy. I wish they were made with two wheels instead of three. However, 3 wheels are probably better for a beginner/average skater( since it provides better front to back stability), but I wish there was a 2- wheel option for more advanced skaters. Overall though, I am very happy with these skates.
