The sheaths that come with them are super handy, and while I probably would n't use the bag around the house, it would be great if taking these camping or traveling at all. Very happy with these knives, a ton of fun to throw. Out of the box sharp as you ’ d expect from SOG. Would recommend if you want some dedicated throwing knives you can use that aren ’ t shaped like a teardrop. I gave 5 stars but would give 4. 5 if I could. Only because I am being a picky baby on this one. It would be cool if there was a guide on re- wrapping the handle as the cord does come loose after a few throws. Not such a big deal as you can still throw fine without the cord.

I used them for a few different meals to see how easy they were to use and wash, and they passed all of those tests, including the greasy and the spaghetti sauce ones without leaving stains behind. They wash well with hand washing and in the dishwasher. The knife probably would n't cut foods like a tough steak, but it likely would cut most of the other foods. I used it to cut a burrito into bite- sized pieces, cut an omelet, cut a baked potato, spread butter and jam, etc and worked just fine.

The knives were sharp enough to cut through the blocks of my husband's favorite vermont cheddar with ease. It is easy to open and close the drawer and the convenience of being able to take the glass top off is also a nice feature. The knives in the drawer are neatly organized and easy to reach and use. I would comfortably give this set as a housewarming gift. I highly recommend the set.

It has a trim that juices will sink into rather than off the board. The knife set is also cool and has a good feel to them. I wasn ’ t actually a fan of the glass, but it does serve a purpose! I like using this to chop up all ingredients but it does work as a nice table center piece with treats. Overall a good product.
