Turns out the bears enjoy when we cook outdoors, too. The set is really well- made, with nice heavy heaviness to them, sharp blades. The meat fork thing could be a bit longer in my opinon, but the tongs are nice and will keep your hands out of the fire. The leather case is nice and thick-- you do n't have to worry about getting poked with any of the pointy things in there. They also are really nice- looking, which is a plus!

[ I really like these utensils. They snap together so you do n't lose them. They are lightweight and easy to hold and have a nice grip on them. I used them for a few different meals to see how easy they were to use and wash, and they passed all of those tests, including the greasy and the spaghetti sauce ones without leaving stains behind. They wash well with hand washing and in the dishwasher. The knife probably would n't cut foods like a tough steak, but it likely would cut most of the other foods. I used it to cut a burrito into bite- sized pieces, cut an omelet, cut a baked potato, spread butter and jam, etc and worked just fine.

I picked up this knife for a shop over 5 yeara ago, still carry it to this day. If you wear jeans with the little pocket above your bigger right front pocket, this knife fits perfectly in there so toss out whatever belt case Gerber gives you for this knife and keep it in that pocket. I have worn holes in my pants from keeping this knife in that spot on a daily basis! The knife is strong, well balanced, feels great in the hand. I 've had some blade wiggle but it's a simple retightening of a bolt. I 've worn off the rubber from the grip and I know if I ever get another one of these knives( which I will) I 'm going to put my worn grip on the new one! Only downside if that little bolt that fixes the wiggle, it strips really easy. If they used better metal or a different head like a robinson or something, it wouldnt strip as easy. Ive used and abused this knife, I use it camping, hunting, general work, no problems. Holds an edge really well, easy to sharpen.

This is a great knife. Perfectly balanced and opens very fast and with intentions. If you have to deploy the knife for protection, whoever is on the other end is gon na be second guessing their self after hearing and seeing this bad boy open. I see some people have complained about the clip but it goes smoothly in and out of my pocket, with no trouble at all. It's actually one of the best clips I 've used honestly. I ca n't even tell there's a knife in my pocket. I have to check sometimes and give myself a quick pat on the pocket, just to make sure it's in there. The knife is a little longer than I anticipated but it's worked out great for me. It's really no problem. It has just the right weight and balance and it's exactly what I wanted. I would like to see this knife about an inch shorter. I 'd definitely buy it again. Just to clarify, the size is fine because of the perfect balance and weight. I 'd just like to see a smaller version, that's all. Before this knife, I carried a Gerber Highbrow, Compact version for about a year and it was heavy compared to the Flash AT. I can put my phone in the same pocket as the Flash AT and not have to worry about scratching up my phone. It stays so well placed in my pocket because of the deep carry pocket clip. This knife was a birthday gift two years ago. After cleaning 1200 or so perch and a hundred walleye I would recommend for moderate use. Plenty of power and the blades have lasted well cutting through perch bones. Would n't use on walleye bones. The one thing that has broken was this ridiculous safety which was more of a hazard. Since its demise the knife is great. Look forward to using it this year again!
