I have a larger sharpening stone& strop that I left behind on a visit to my in laws. In the past I ’ d take that to sharpen their knives. This product has it all. It has two flat diamond plates for putting the edge on your knife and then a Ceramic rod type sharpener with different degrees of course to fine to finish the blade. Then you can finish it off with a leather side to take the burrs off and finish the blade to a razor finish. This tool is one to have in your pack, toolbox, glove box or the kitchen drawer.

The first knife I sharpened was the only one I had a problem getting sharp before I had the worksharp and that's my USMC KaBar. It's razor sharp now. The knife I use at work every day was chipped and dull. The worksharp brought it right back no problem. The worksharp field sharpener should in everyone's pack or tackle box! Awesome!

After a YouTube video and reading instructions I was on to sharpening two of my pocket knives with ease. Will need to practice more for sure, but I was able to get a super sharp edge at least at some parts of the knife. Depending on the surface it may not stay still and move depending on the amount of pressure you use, but this is likely an easy fix.
