Unbelievable balls. The Chrome Tour TD spins less than CT and CTX off the driver and stays remarkably straight down range. It is long! I was using a new driver as well, but I was getting 8- 10 yards more total distance with that combo. It is a firm ball, but feels good off the face( softer than the X LS of previous generations). Approach shots had a nice mid trajectory and spun more than I thought on very firm greens. Around the green, the ball is predictable: it rolls out when you want it and checks when you want it. Firm greens did have a teeny bit more run out. Feel off the putter is firm. Overall a great ball if you struggle with spin or too high launch.

I bought these balls because they had all the specs I was looking for and so I hoped for the best. They were also at a great price point. Very happy to say they did not disappoint in any category. Feel, distance, spin and durability were all as good as any ball I 've ever played and I 've played all the top brand urethane balls as an 8. 7 hdcp player who was once a 4. 2 hdcp. We ca n't stop the aging process unfortunately. This ball really fits my game right now as a 75- 80 compression offering. Mfg in the Foremost plant in Taiwan where TaylorMade, Encore, Vice and Wilson are also mfg. Not to say all these balls are the same as they are all mfg to different ball designers specs, but this plant must be a quality production facility to mfg such reputable brands.

I ’ ve been playing this ball for a while and I ’ m very impressed. The TP5x Stripe offers great distance off the tee while still providing excellent control around the greens. The alignment stripe is very helpful for putting and makes setup much more consistent. The feel is firm but responsive, and performance is very consistent shot after shot. However, they are still providing what I believe is accurate readings despite the pounding they 've taken. Cost more, but you get great accuracy and plenty of wear out of them. I 'll probably rotate these new ones in at the beginning of the new year--- just because.

Bought a sleeve of these on Friday to test out this weekend and was very shocked at how much I enjoyed them. The ball had a little more pop off the tee than the Chrome Soft, but was still soft around the greens. Will continue to play the Chrome Tour.

[ I did n't expect these top- of- the line balls to be distance balls necessarily, but was immediately impressed by the fact these were consistently further than normal. I rarely hit the clubface center; I 'm happy if I hit a drive 220; my first round with Chrome Tour my drive distances were 223, 217, 236, 252, 189( toe), 237, 226, 230, 215, not counting the drives which hit trees. I hit a number of irons thin, and the ball seemed to almost self correct, continuing in the right direction and running up on the green. The ball has a medium soft feel, neither too hard or soft. A couple of full swing wedge shots spun back about 10 ft. I am a 72 yr old with 14 index. That first round I hit 8/14 fairways and 7/18 GIR.

I am 76 and bounce between a 2 and 4 handicap but my swing speed is not what it used to be. I tried this golf ball based on several reviews and was pleasantly surprised how well it performed. It is also less expensive. I was going to use a$ 10 Dick's reward to purchase a dozen but they had a buy two special so I ended up only paying$ 60 for 2 dozen. I had been using Bridgestone( red pkg) or Titleist ProV 1s both of which work well also but at a higher price.
