I was always going to play these irons as I am coming from the original Blueprints. The trick for me, which required care and time in the fitting process, was to find the right grip, shaft and ball combination. And I found it in the TTDG 120 S300 Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 cord grip and the Bridgestone Tour B RXS ball. At 54 I am still playing off scratch but my swingspeed has reduced a tad. But all my fears of still trusting a traditional mb blade iron dissopated when I played this combination. Wow! Totally blown away hiw off the charts good the feel and performance of thus iron is. It will take getting used to the new aesthetics but as all Ping products…you come to really love and appreciate them for life.

about a year into golf, was a high handicapper until I got the iron/hybrid set. I ’ m consistently hitting high 90s- low 100s. The hybrids are particular easier to hit than my previous( Reva) ones. I love that it came with 3 wedges( W, U, S). The only thing holding it back from being perfect for me is that it came with a 5h and 6h. Given the loft on the 6h and 7i is only a difference of 0. 5 degrees, it would have been much more practical to have a 4h instead of the 6h. I ended up buying the 4h separately and it ’s my favorite club in the bag. Trying to figure out how to find a women ’s 2h or 3h to get a little more distance, but I don ’ t think Ping makes them.

I ’ ve had these irons for a month and I really, really love them. An upgrade from my 921HM. Granted I had the wrong shaft in my previous set, DG105, had trouble getting them up in the air. I opted for the Nippon 950Neo on the new HMP after a Mizuno fitting at GG. A little lighter and higher launching, combined with hotter face and slightly stronger loft equals a dream set of irons for me. Nothing feels like a Mizuno. Can ’ t recommend more. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Hopped in the bay and hit the ZX5 MK2, ZX7 MK2, 243 Pro, 245 Pro, Cobra King Tour. The ZX5 was all around by far the most consistent. They all had nice feel but the Mizunos were just a little too hot for my taste( especially the 245; it's def for distance) and did n't spin as much. The ZX5 spun most, had the steepest landing angle, and best distance dispersion. I 'm coming off a players iron from several years ago, which I hit pretty well, but the forgiveness and consistency of these is very apparent.

I 've been gaming this 2 iron for the past month or so. Helps when I 'm on a tee box with a narrow fairway and my driver is too risky. Have n't had a complaint yet other than it does launch a little higher than I expected it too. May be a problem on windy days but I have n't had many windy days to test it out. As a newbie golfer, I decided to upgrade my clubs this year to keep improving my game. My old clubs were cheap and outdated, so I went with the PING G440s, mainly because I ’ m a fan of the PING brand. And wow, I wasn ’ t disappointed! My first shot with the 5- iron soared 190 yards, a massive leap from the 160 yards I ’ d struggle to hit with my old 5- iron. Every iron in the set added at least 10 yards to my shots, giving me a huge confidence boost. I ’ m stoked to keep improving with my G440s, and they look awesome all shined up. One month ago I got ping G440 senior iron set I have played blades for years. I enjoy the accuracy of that, but have lost distance with the new Ping irons I have accuracy and the distance again and the size of the clubs and looks are great the game of golf is enjoyable again

I upgraded to the Ping G440 Irons. My old set were Pings from early 2012. The look at set up and feel at impact is classic Ping! I 've already improved my index by two strokes since using my new clubs.

After playing the 2019 P790s for five years, it was time to upgrade. With the newer 2025 P790s, I was looking for better distance on office center hits. With the newer P790s, I got the same distance as I wanted on off- center hits. I hit my 7 iron 182 yards, so I gained 185 yards with the new ones. I was so happy that I got these new set of irons from 4- PW. I ’ m really happy. I really enjoying these new ones. Taylormade makes the best P790s irons ever. If anybody ’s looking for new irons, I highly recommend the new 2025 P790s

Bought Srixon forged irons April 2023, 9 index, formerly a 2, struggling with true blades due to 56 years of age, game improvement irons do n't work for my game. Fitted for 4- pw with Modus 105 XS. Never played XS before. The iron plays much easier than a traditional muscle back, index has dropped 3. 3 in one month to 5. 7 and headed lower quickly. Play one of the hardest courses in Texas typically in windy conditions. Can work ball both ways, distance control is excellent, and do n't feel beat up after the round. Ca n't draw the ball as precisely vs traditional blade, but otherwise everything else is superior. Easily a club longer with a stiffer shaft than my last blades. Hope they work for you.

64yo high handicap player. Love these clubs! Light weight. Very playable. Have played Tommy Armour, Wilson, Cobra Fly XL. The Pings( at the same price as the cobras) are slightly better IMHO. I would urge you to spend the extra money and get the complete set with the bag.

My wife was fitted for Ping G Le3 irons, hybrids, and fairway woods in November and they have been fantastic. Gapping specifically for women and women friendly design actually works. She is 78 and is able to hit and hold greens as never before as these clubs have given her some additional length while hitting the ball much higher. Bought the 5iron for added forgiveness at the top of my bag. This club has been a god send and combos well with my Apex TCB 24 ’. Strongly considering to replace my hybrid for the 4iron. Can ’ t recommend this club enough for the top of your bag if you play TCB/CB/MB.

Moved from Apex CF16, was fitted by a great Callaway rep who adjusted my specs from my previous set( bought 8 years ago), so that did n't surprise me. Also went from steel to graphite, which makes sense given the ever improving technology and my getting a little older. Love my Apex 24 Pro's

I went in for a iron and wedge fit with no preconceived outcome. With a swing speed consistently around 90mph with a 7 iron these clubs just felt far better than anything else I hit. My yardages were extremely consistent, my dispersion was within yards, and ideal launch and spin. For me they are paired with Project X- LS shafts. The interesting part is that I had hit all other cavity back irons from the major manufactures. This was the only `` players distance '' iron in the test. In the end it came down to APEX pro's and Mizuno Pro 243's. Being my last two iron sets were also Mizuno I greatly appreciate an iron being soft and consistent. The APEX Pro was as soft and more consistent. Truly inspires confidence when I line up for every shot. I paired a complete set of AW- 4I with a 56 and 60 wedge set. These fly high with out excessive spin, stay on line, and offer a smooth swing weight. Give them some serious consideration for your next set.
