This is my first pair of MJ and I am amazed how crisp the visibility is. They are comfortable and lightweight. Note these will not stay on top of your head and they sound very ‘ creaky ’ when opening to put on. It does not interfere with use, just an odd sound.

I tried on sooooo many before I found the right ones for me. The Ocean frames are extremely light weight, which was the main deciding factor for me. I live in Hawai' i where the sun's always out and shining bright so I needed something to wear daily. The lens are enough to reduce glare but not dark enough to cause fatigue on the eyes. I love how the island colors are vibrantly enhanced!!! The only small issue I came across is that the bridge of my nose is not as prominent and occasionally, when I start to sweat, the glasses eventually slip down. I obviously was n't sweating in the store when trying them on, so that is a possible factor to consider. Other than that, these are awesome!

Anyway I am reviewing the ROSE colored lenses I despise the blue light of overcast days, it gives me a headache. Grey or tan lenses do not help alleviate this. But ROSE do! It is so hard to find a good pair of rose lenses. There is a reason there is a saying about mood and rose colored glasses. I adore my new MJ in all lower sun conditions. As one reviewer pointed out they are not great for high light conditions. For that I have my other pair of MJ's. But I wear these all winter long and on all overcast days. Awesome glasses. Hopefully there will be more frame/lens combinations. Would like to see the blue lenses available with a black, smoke, and tortoise frame colors. The Hawaii Blue lenses look great and have perfect clarity, but are better for overcast or partly cloudy days than for bright sun.

I bought these for the lenses, for driving. They 're perfect. My old ones were so dark I had to lift them up to see things on the dash. With the tinted windows, the sun is still strong enough to need sunglasses, but if they 're too dark, I ca n't see the displays. These are just right. They would n't be right for a sunny place like the beach or the ski slopes- they 're too light- but for a car, or overcast sky where you need contrast, they 're just right.

I bought a pair of readers in Hawaii Blue, and I love them! They are good for all types of light, and the reader portion is generous but thin. I actually had to make an exchange, and that process was very quick and easy. I have been a long time Maui Jim fan. The only thing I would like to ask is that Maui Jim brings back the gold mirror lenses!

My second pair of Maui Jim's sunglasses. The quality is unmatched, Maui Jim makes their own glasses i was told, unlike designer glasses that just put their names on someone else's product. The glasses really cut down on glare nic when boating and looking into the water. The wrap around design keeps light out of the corners of your eyes.

Trust me, I ’ ve tried them all from Maui Jim and these are far and away the best sunglasses they offer for anglers. Perfect for Florida and great comfortable fit. I ’ ve had 10+ pairs of Maui Jim ’s and these are my favorite. I do wish the rubber on the arms wasn ’ t grey, but that does not affect performance at all.
