I have to be really honest here, I didn ’ t buy this helmet for baseball at all, I bought it to wear as my bicycle riding helmet. I didn ’ t like any styles out there because I wanted full face protection that a lot oh regular helmets don ’ t have. However, after initially trying it on, and getting a feel for it, I can honestly say it was well worth the money I paid for it. It ’s a lot more comfortable then most other helmets, plus, it ’s just a great all around style. The first day I fully rode with it I got a great comment about it, and that alone told me I made a wise decision on buying it. Looking forward to the longer days when I can go further on my bike then I can now. Also, the removable chin pad is great, as well. I ’ m going to try riding with it a few times to see how it fits, so, i ’ ll Wait to pass judgement on it. It works very well with my sunglasses( they go over my prescription glasses), and I still have a ton of movement that doesn ’ t affect them. And, I can even wear my Bluetooth earphones, as well, but for safety ’s sake, I won ’ t listen to them when i ’ m biking. Other then that, it ’s a pretty decent item for the price. And the color is perfect, as well... just the right shade of blue I wanted. Other then that, like I said, it ’s pretty awesome. I hope these helmets stay available just in case I ever need to replace it.

seems to be a nice helmet. we have been using it indoors at domeball right now. My 13 year old daughter seems to have a smaller head so this works perfectly for her. the one thing she did n't like about this helmet is the chin strap is wierd. It is like a canvas strap- not stretchy like the RIP- IT brand helmets have. i do n't think she will be using that at all.

Kid is about 4' 8 '', 80lbs and just about a size 7 head. This fits just too perfectly. Good vision. Fits a little closer than the Easton Jr size catcher helmet. Comparably, the Mizuno samurai youth helmet is much larger. Of course, I did n't want to spend full price on the most expensive helmet in this size but I guess I had to for the fit. Only problem was that I ordered navy and Dick's sent royal. But otherwise the helmet arrived in perfect condition. Also, the local Dick's store was excellent in handling my return of the Easton helmet.
