This is my first pair of suede/roughout type boots and my second pair of Durangos and WOW am I in love with these!! My absolute favorite pair right now for sure. All of my shoes are a size 8. 5, but my first pair of Durangos I bought an 8 which ended up being too big and gave me blisters, so I decided to try a 7. 5 for this pair and they fit SO perfectly! They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and have yet to give me a blister or sore foot. I guide trail rides in the summer here in Montana, so I put these bad boys to work right away, and man did they hold up! I spent 12+ hours in them some days and we do a ton of walking between rides, but my feet were never sore or uncomfortable in these. They are fantastic to ride in as well and I really enjoy the thumb holes to help pull them on, as my arches can make that difficult in certain styles. I 'll be curious to see how long they last and how the suede/roughout holds up, but I have high hopes! I highly recommend these boots but be sure to double check what size you need before ordering.

I ordered a 6. 5 and they are correct from toe to heel- not much extra room, but pretty standard sizing. I do, however, have slightly wider feet and I find the boots to be very snug. I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. The leather does wear out after a while meaning a looser fit but the hide hold up. I 'm on my 3 or 4th pair.

I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I ’ m even comfortable in them for an 8- hour shift in retail involving going up and down ladders. Highly recommend for women with C width feet( wider than typical but not quite wide.). I was thinking about getting XtraTuf boots for a long time but never had any reason to until I started needing a waterproof boot that wasn ’ t a full tall winter boot. I ’ m glad I got them. They aren ’ t breathable( as I expected) due to the waterproofing of the boot, but the fact that they are short boots helps them breathe a little more than a tall boot. They are very comfortable and I have even wore them for short hikes because I decided not to change my shoes. They have quickly became my everyday winter shoe/boot. I love the purple color, it is so fun, but when mud splashed on them it stays visible until you wash it off. The one time I did scrub them off they did clean up relatively nicely, but if you want an easier maintenance boot, I would get a darker color.

The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore. I was outside for 2 hours and my feet and calves didn ’ t get cold. I was able to walk uphill on ice and not slip. They are comfortable and require little “ break in ”. Great purchase.
