I have this ball return as well as the Puttout mat and gates. I 'm my opinion you need the gates to fully benefit from this device. The gates allow you to ensure the ball is coming straight out of the face as it tracks into the cup. The one improvement I would like to see in future versions of this device would be more pronounced guardrails on with sides of the cup as well as a backstop at the top of the ramp. These changes would allow me to hit putts that simulate much longer putts than the relatively short mat allow. The Puttout mat is the very best mat I have found. My Mat is 5 years old and it is as true as the first day I used it. I highly recommend this product as well as the mat and gates.

I saw this on sale at Golf Galaxy and picked it up. I figured I 'd use it as another putting tool when not using my 8' x 1' putting mat, raised ramp hole, etc... This is very stable, has a little gripping surface on the bottom, so it wo n't move on a livingroom carpet. The coolest thing about it is, the push- in rubber plug. Leave it flush with the plastic ramp, and the ball goes up the ramp and come back down to you. Push in the little plug, and with `` just the right touch ''... the ball will go up the ramp and stop right in the little hole where the plug is. I was looking for a replacement for a putting mat I had for a couple years. My old one had a battery operated ball return that stopped working. No batteries needed for this mat and the ball return works great, all by gravity. My new putting mat from Perfect Practice has already helped me improve my putting. Two parallel solid lines help me keep the putter square to the target and there is a nice dashed line to follow straight into the hole. I especially like using the solid parallel lines on my follow through. It seems that my putting stroke was breaking down after I hit the putt by not staying on line. The lines help a lot. Also, the hole itself is slightly smaller than a regulation cup size, to help improve aim. The edges of the mat have a good looking raised edge that keeps the ball from rolling off the mat. This version was the smallest and it easily rolls up and fits into a nice bag, when not being used. I have n't put mine away since I bought it, but it is a nice feature. The larger models with nice wood features look great, but are too large for the space I have.

Let ’s just say the first putt with it in Myrtle beach was a 40 ” that tracked dead online and dropped for me to save par. I have not 3 putted in my last 4 rounds. This putter with the round golf pride reverse taper grip is a deadly combination!( For me) I ’ m right handed right eye dominant. So a little bit of offset with a plumbers neck is what always has worked best for me. Only one suggestion, please make the soft insert style of this putter again in the future. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I have always been a pretty good putter, but the DS72 has been a game changer. Been an Odyssey user for ever but saw Holland's putter and really liked the look. So I took a gamble and got one. I have spared no expense with my putters and have spent well over$ 800 for some custom made brands. I just happened to try this at Dicks and bought it on a whim. Bottom line: no 3 putts, it holds its line perfectly, great balance, wonderful feel off the blade, perfect grip and out performs putters costing 3 times more. I play. to a solid 7 handicap and am an excellent putter and humbly know what great feels like. I could care less about snob appeal and am far more pleased with sinking putts and scoring well, however, this does have a great look and design. I recommend that it works best with a straight back, straight through stroke and not with an arc. Also, the milling of the groves provides consistent distance control even on that rare occasion when your strike is n't perfect. This putter is a steal! I could not be more delighted. I hope this review helps your game as I have direct connections to the PGA and many major legends of the game and so I could be considered a credible expert reviewer of equipment. Tommy Armour has hit it out of the park with this stellar putter.

Grabbed a lab putter up before trying this at the store, I loved the longer grip feel for my strange grip I have. Grabbed this up after spotting the grip not noticing it was just a cheap TA. This not only was way better then I could imagined, it was better then any other putter I 've tried( with the exception of the lab putters, but those things cost 4- 5 times this!). Feel is great, sounds awesome, ball rolls true, the balance is great on this and you do n't have to fight it to keep the face straight. I also hate putters that feel like they rocket the ball, this does n't do that at all, but also does not have that dead feeling like the ball goes no where when you really smack it. I cant say enough good things about this club, the fit and finish is awesome. If your looking for a 38 ” counterbalanced putter, look here first! Plays WAYYYY above its price point!

I ’ ve only used a blade style putter but wanted to try a mallet style for more forgiveness and a different length. I needed an inexpensive mallet which this fit the bill. Only been able to try it on a putting mat, however, it feels great like it could be 2- 3x the price. Again hard to compare to my blade( Odyssey white hot og 1ws) but insert is great maybe a smidge firmer then the white hot insert if at all. Alignment feature is great. Only thing to knock is the head cover is very basic/cheap looking but does its job and is a good fit. Have a feeling this is kicking my much more expensive Odyssey out of the bag!
