Excellent for winter to cut the wind and retain heat. Had multiple deer come within 30 yds and jacket noise did not alert them. Used as a top layer with layering( and heated vest, socks, and gloves all on lowest setting) during a 12( F) degree morning, never got cold and didn ’ t feel the wind. It does not have pockets, which helps with retaining heat and one less thing to leak down the road, but I use a small pack to carry in. I do suggest breaking it in a bit. happy with this jacket. i used at mt Bachelor for four days. it was cold week but i never got cold, in fact i had to open vents. i 'm 6' 1 '' and its very comfortable fit. hood its true helmet compatible. main zipper sometimes was stubborn but manageable. i would improve the top of inside part of zipper where Gore- Tex material is touching your face/ mouth when hood is over the helmet by putting softer cloth material, maybe even this piece could be removable for often cleaning. overall good jacket.

For the price, this is definitely a bargain. I was a little skeptical when the product came in but I ran water over it for 10 minutes and not a drop came through! It seemed to be breathable enough when my son wore it on a camping trip in 90 degree heat. The only negative is that it is a little bulky. However, I plan to buy another one for my other child.

Bought this for my 8 year old to go to Minnesota for a week long fishing trip. He stayed warm and dry whether racing across the lake or getting stuck in a down pour. Was a little nervous when I first opened it and felt the material but it is very sturdy and held up amazingly well. Drys quickly and folds up so small. Like that it has it's own storage bag. Would definitely buy again.

Easy to pack, lightweight rain jacket. Does n't keep rain completely out when it's downpouring, but that is to be expected with a UL jacket. Otherwise does great in light rain and soggy conditions.

[ I bought this for my Australian shepherd in anticipation for the rainy season. Since she has plenty of fur to keep herself warm I opted for this lighter version. The jacket is adjustable so it has a perfect fit, and I love the back flap detail to cover her booty.

[ This is a great rain jacket. It fits perfectly around the chest( adjustable) and completely covers my dog's butt. Yet, it does n't stop his tail from freely moving around. There are 2 bands for his back legs so that the back of his jacket from flipping over when it's windy, but he almost does n't need them unless it's stormy outside. Easy to put on/ off. I 've bought several rain coats for my dog in the past, but this is the best one of all.

[ I would give it 5 stars but the leash portal was slightly sealed shut. I was able to open it and now it works perfectly. My dog wears the L/XL harness and based on the measurements for the jacket I 'm glad I went with the L size.
