I received this knife as part of promotional bonus for signing up to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation about one year ago. I love this little knife. I own my own Machine Shop, where I specialize in restoring old cars and trucks, and I use this knife constantly for opening boxes of parts and cutting heavy duty rubber hoses for heaters. I have yet to change blades. I have read some of these other reviews where the owners are complaining that their knives broke while they were skinning an elk, or something like that, but chances are they were abusing the knife. Any tool will fail if its abused. Use this knife as it was intended and it will last a long time. Thank you.

I was worried about the durability of the blade considering it ’s super easy to change, but it ’s yet to break off or bend.
