I am 5 ’ 4 ” 120- 125lbs athletic built I bought a size xs. I honestly was not sure if I was going to like these. They are roomy in the front area. After wearing them for a bit, I fell in love with them. They have zipper pockets which is great for running outside and needing to secure your keys or phone. They are soft and breathable. Warm too. I am 5 ’ 5 ” and 155lbs. Measurements are 29 ” waist, 41 ” hips, 29 ” inseam and because I was mostly worried about these pants fitting my thick thighs, they are each 24. 5 ” around. I am surprised by how well these fit and have never had such flattering ski pants. The fabric has elasticity so it hugs my curves without feeling tight. I paired with the Cosima Jacket in Varsity Blue, perfect match. All the materials seem to be good quality. Strong zippers& fasteners. They are not insulated but are fully lined with fleece. I ’ m about 41- 42 ” hips, and the pants definitely fit on the bigger side: adjustable tabs as tight as they get, and still easily go over jeans or multiple layers with plenty extra room. I usually wear 33- 34 ” inseam, and the long version fits very well. I ’ m going to keep the L for easy trips to the rink or sledding hill, to throw over normal clothes. [ I never am a fan of tights due to them being restrictive to my specific body type, but not these! These fit around my curves and don ’ t feel restrictive. Also the quality is very nice and they do not become see through during motion, which is a big concern for gym use. The high waisted band is very comfortable and it keeps everything nice and tucked. [ I got these for my wife. She said: I am a working mom of 7 young kids and I like to keep in shape both for my physical health as well as my mental health( and sanity!) and I need workout gear that can withstand a lot of wear and tear as well as make me feel good while wearing it. These high waisted running leggings really fit the bill! I used them around the house to get tasks done as well as for both for short( 1- 2mile) and long( 5+ mile) runs. There are both pros and cons to this model- the PROS: 1) the material is SO comfortable and has the perfect blend of stretch and compression. 2) the fabric weight is ideal for spring running- it breaths but it also holds in heat so my legs felt great for the duration of each run 3) The pockets are positioned so I could be hands free and still keep my essentials( like phone and energy gel packs) accessible during the run. 4) the waistband is thick so there is not a small single circle of pressure on my abdomen, which is an improvement from other brands I 've tried 5) there is no seam or pressure point anywhere on the tights that was uncomfortable, so I did n't experience any rubbing or discomfort for the duration of wearing them ever! There are only a couple CONS: 1) I felt they run a bit small, especially in the waist. I know they are intended for compression, but getting them on required a bit of discomfort, especially at the top of the waist- it is exceptionally small. I 'd recommend sizing up if you have a larger waist or prefer more room on the waistline. Since they are high rise, it definitely `` cuts '' into the area under your rib- cage at first and is tricky to pull up. Once I got them up, they were fine and they stayed in place perfectly, but I might size up if I buy a second pair for this reason 2) I feel they are a bit long to be considered 7/8 length( I 'm 5' 8 '' 125 lbs)- they fit more like a traditional legging, which was fine for my use but if I truly wanted 7/8 length I 'd say they are longer than that. Overall these are great leggings for running- they stay in place, keep me cool, held up to washes and wear and tear and still look new, and fit comfortably with no rubbing. I 'd definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to run!

[ These cycling tights do exactly what they 're supposed to do. The sizing may run a touch small so you may need to size up if you 're on the cusp of sizing. I 'm 5' 2 '' 125 pounds and the small is a tiny bit more snug than I 'd like but they may stretch out over time. I use these for mountain biking and I 'd recommend them for rides 40°F and under.
