[ I 've been using evac compression bags for awhile, the new UL ones are great for backpacking and using in your backpack but they can be a bit fragile this Heavy Duty version is excellent. It's super water resistant having used it on bikepacking trips in rain and mud my gear stayed bone dry inside. It's very durable meaning you can strap it right to your bike or whatever your needs may be without worry of wear and tear. The new style closure system with buckles on one side makes opening and closing super quick and efficient which is great for when you get to camp late. [ This is better and more creative than the online description. It has a semi- rigid insert to hold shape, the interior dry bag is attached with loop-&- hook( Velcro), and there are a couple of ways to secure it on the deck of your kayak. Because some powerboat drivers have not paid close attention, I do prefer bright colors when crossing a lakes. And, of course, bright colors are easier for bush pilots to spot. I do wish it came in a bright color similar to a safety vest.

Used on a self support kayak trip on the middle fork of salmon in Idaho. Ran it on the front deck but mounted so the access end was toward the bow. In reverse the angle makes it easy to read a waterproof map in the bungees and did not interfere with strokes. Great for extra jacket, lunch, and small dry box. [ I really like these dry bags. I use them for canoe tripping and the oval shape fits perfectly in a portage pack and leaves less wasted space in the pack. Also, the lash loops make it easier to remove from the pack and while I have n't used it, the attachment points for a shoulder strap could be really useful for day trips. The construction is top- notch. I 've used dozens of other dry bags and these seem to be tougher than all others I 've used. The material is strong and puncture- resistant while not being thick and heavy. I have been paddling and using dry bags for over 30 years and also worked in the outdoor retail industry. [ dry bag seems to be of good quality. have not used it yet but I will leave addition information after that. the weight is good and better than what i used in the past for kayaking.

[ Really happy with my 20 Liter compression sack. I use it for travel packing. It compressed my clothes with minimal effort and minimal wrinkled garments. Very easy to use and sturdy. [ I purchased one of each of these packs for my daughter and son in law for Christmas because they are frequent travelers who like to contain their luggage to carry ons and a backpack each, especially when traveling internationally. They also go skiing a couple times a year and on that trip they have to pack very bulky jackets, ski pants, sweaters and lots of layers of clothes. They have not traveled with them yet, but they did do an experiment with stuffing one of them and they were amazed at what they were able to pack and how small they were to shrink the sack down to! I bought this about 6 months ago and have been using it every day in a bike commute with a laptop, ipad and charger, etc in it. When it rains, it's no big deal since the fabric is so water repellent. Great pack. Ca n't recommend enough. Zipper is tough but that's why it's so watertight I guess.
