[ I ’ m glad I chose to purchase a second rear mount and install two rod holders at the same time because it will allow for fishing at two different depths while trolling on one down rigger. As advertised, the two piece locking design allows independent adjustment of each rod holder to cover more ground. Also, I think it makes the down rigger look cool.
