[ This thing is awesome. Bought on a whim and use it all the time. Keep it in my car and use it to watch the ocean waves, watch the sky when I 'm waiting, bring it on a hike with my dog, bring it to the slopes to look at the snow. Everyone else in my car wants to use it as well and loves it, buys their own. Best purchase of 2023.

Got these for concert viewing from the way way up nosebleed seats and I am impressed. They let in plenty of light with crystal clear views. Added a harness and I ’ m good to go. They are a good size for maneuvering in a crowd without feeling like you ’ re toting an elephant around your neck. Highly recommend for rock concerts. It was easy to follow the performers around without losing sight of them.

Wow! I am so impressed by the small pair of binoculars! Truly, these are an incredible value and extremely versatile. I ’ ve been using the diamondback 10 x 28 for almost a year now I really can ’ t believe the quality of optic they are for the price they have become my new favorite binoculars that I carry while I ’ m hunting. or just need to travel a little lighter. I am a backcountry and wildlife guide and so I ’ ve had the opportunity to spend time using most of all the big name and high priced optics on the market. For the price of these, there may not be a better value in contact binoculars. The glass is very very clear. In fact I get better imagery with these than I do from my leica a 10 x 28. This is partly because the vortex are easier to use and also the diopter adjustment has a better range and easier, set precisely. When I am hunting, I will often scout with a spotted scope or 10 x 42 binoculars but when I ’ m actually in the field and carrying a pack, a rifle, and rangefinder, I really like having a lightweight set of binoculars around my neck so I can glass through thick timber or at least locate animals That could be within my range. The set of binoculars are perfect for this. The two things that I think would make these better would be if they could be 4 to 6 ounces lighter and be double hinged so they folded and fit in a pocket better however, if those changes came with sacrifice and quality, it would not be worth it. I highly recommend these binoculars as a compact astonishingly great performing binoculars

VERY useful for SAR teams in the field. Got tired of hauling around mini- binoculars and went to this produce on a trial basis. Loved it. Works well in snow, rain, and even falling in a creek.( Yeah... use old guys take a spill now- and- then.). Many SAR teams are going to the using rifle scopes and monoculars due to their compactness and ease of use. Careful to pick your product using price/waterproof qualities/magnification. This is a handy item to carry on your pack's shoulder straps using a carabiner.

I bought these a couple of weeks ago and I am enjoying them very much. The lenses are easy to adjust and the quality of the product is beyond my expectations. Also, my favorite part about this is it comes with a carrying case that makes it way easier to remember since the case is kinda big. One thing however that does kind of get annoying is that the lenses fog/get dirty quickly and I have to clean them, but that is just human nature. These are great to see from a far distance and are great for sporting events.

I wear eyeglasses and it is great if a set of binos gives me the option to view without removing my glasses. The UHD 10x50 allows this, and so does the Razor HD 8x42. They are better than the Viper 8x42 in this respect even though the eye relief on the spec sheet is less. Friendly reminder that the effective eye relief is never just the eye relief on a spec sheet, especially when comparing different brands/lines. Glass? Exceptional, as you 'd expect with the Razor name. Easy handling, great glass, large exit pupil, and great eye relief have made these my go- to bino. Love my UHD 10x50, but the 8x42 is 12 ounces lighter and easier to live with.

I purchased the Razor HD 8x32 from the wonderful store, Jay's Bird Barn in Prescott, Arizona about two years ago. I use them primarily for birding and occasionally for astronomy( the Beehive Cluster is a fantastic sight through these things). For birding they are great for close work such as my back yard Hummingbird feeder just 10 feet from the chair on my deck. For medium distances they also provide excellent, wonderfully clear views.

Vortex Bantam HDs provide a clear and bright image, are easy for anyone to use, and are definitely NOT a toy. Photo is my 4 year old granddaughter taking a break from the nature walk( wish I had someone to wheel me around while looking at the birds); it should be noted that her 71 year old Nana prefers them, too, for their very light weight. Highly recommended.

I got these as a gift for my boyfriend right before going to Acadia National Park, and he was so happy to have them. The view is super clear and they 're lightweight, so it's nice for hiking. I had been debating between these and a pair$ 60 more but honestly could n't tell the difference when comparing the view. They 're a great pair of binoculars for the casual birder:)

I am a Shotlink volunteer at the Colonial Golf Tournament in Ft. Worth, TX and recently purchased a pair of Nikon Aculon binoculars for use to identify the golfers from our Fairway position. They worked extremely well from our vantage point 300 yards down the Fairway and the light weight was a definite plus.

These binoculars fit my needs exactly. The customer service employee was very helpful finding the exact binoculars that fit my needs. The lens are very clear. The adjustments are easy to do and work well for my eyesight that is no longer as sharp as it used to be! Binocs that will fit in a wide jacket pocket, easy to take on a nature walk.

I was n't sure what type of binoculars I wanted to purchase at the time I got the Nikon A30. My experience with sales person helped make my decision a lot easier. I guess when making my decision was based on overall size. I wanted the best view with a smaller size. Well, this was definitely the right choice. Even though the it's only 25mm instead of 50mm, it captures enough light to make the 10X magnification bright and clear. I would recommend these binoculars to any one looking for their first purchase. You wo n't be sorry you did.

A roof prism monocular is a compact optical device that uses a roof prism system to provide a straight-line optical path, allowing for a slim and lightweight design. This differs from other types, such as porro prism monoculars, which have a bulkier shape and can be less portable. Roof prism monoculars are ideal for outdoor activities where space and weight are considerations.
Roof prism monoculars are known for their portability and ease of use, making them perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, birdwatching, or sporting events. Their compact design allows for easy carrying in a pocket or backpack, while still providing clear and bright images. Additionally, many models are designed to be waterproof and fog-proof, enhancing their durability in various weather conditions.
When selecting a roof prism monocular, consider factors such as magnification power, objective lens diameter, and overall weight. Higher magnification provides a closer view but may require a steadier hand, while a larger objective lens can improve light gathering for better visibility in low light conditions. It's also important to look for features like waterproofing and lens coatings for enhanced performance.
Yes, roof prism monoculars can be suitable for low-light conditions, especially those with larger objective lenses and high-quality optical coatings. These features help to maximize light transmission, resulting in clearer images during dawn, dusk, or overcast days. However, the effectiveness can vary by model, so it's advisable to check specifications when looking for low-light performance.
To use a roof prism monocular effectively, hold it steady with both hands and bring it up to your eye while keeping your other eye open for better depth perception. Adjust the focus using the central focus wheel to ensure a clear image. Additionally, using a neck strap can help stabilize the monocular and prevent drops during use.
