We just returned from a trip that required the use of this bag. It was used on top of a Toyota RAV4 with a rack on the roof. The bag is quite durable, easy to put up and take down and best of all, I can attest to it being quite water resistant. At one point in the trip, while barreling down the road at highway speeds, we encountered a downpour intense enough to warrant slowing to 40 mph. The contents were perfectly dry.

[ The Thule Force 3 is the perfect addition to our Toyota 4Runner! The delivery was fast, and the installation was a breeze. The trickiest part for me was positioning the box just right—I prefer to have it centered on the roof, as we often access gear from both sides depending on the situation. The XL size is a great fit for an SUV. Due to the design of our crossbars, we did need to shift the box back a bit further than we initially wanted, which prevents the trunk from opening fully. However, this is entirely our choice, and I do n't fault Thule for this minor issue. We took the roof box on a skiing trip right away, and it held our 4 skis and poles with ease! It ’s been a game- changer for freeing up space inside the car. While the box does make a bit of noise once we hit 70mph, it's nothing that bothers us. Overall, I highly recommend the Thule Force 3 to anyone in need of extra storage. We 're thrilled to have it as part of our gear setup!

The Thule Motion 3 XL is a five- star product all the way. Installation was straightforward and quick—no tools required, and everything locked securely into place on our crossbars. The cargo space is massive. We fit multiple carry- on suitcases, duffels, and extra gear with room to spare. What ’s surprising is that despite the huge capacity, it looks sleek and low- profile once mounted—much smaller than you ’ d expect from the ground, which is a big plus for aesthetics and aerodynamics. These are probably the best universal type roof racks you will be able to find. I shopped extensively for racks that would be able to stand up to transporting a heavy kayak over thousands of miles. Other brand name racks like Thule or Yakima would have cost 4 to 5 times the cost of these racks. These were the only ones that seemed to be able to perform just as well as the higher priced options. We used these on a 2016 Honda CRV( does not have a rain gutter or lip to catch other types of attachment systems) to transport the kayak from NY to Florida through a major southern blizzard with these racks on the car. The racks and kayak did not budge an inch. The ratchets seemed to work fine. I cinched them up as tightly as possible and then tied a half hitch as insurance. We kept the kayak on the rack with some budget ratchet tie downs from Harbor Freight. The fact that the tie downs for the rack do go through the interior of the car may put some people off but this also make the racks very secure. I also want to add that these did not mar the finish or cause any scratches or dents to the vehicle. I highly recommend these if you are having difficulty trying to find racks that work with your vehicle.

Bought the 50 '' rails for my 2015 Rogue and using the included spacers, they are a perfect fit. Rails feel very tight and secure. Steal bars are strong and rubber coating does n't scratch up my kayak( like the first set of cheaper rails I bought that had to be returned for that reason). Easy to install and remove with the turn of the supplied Allen wrench. Notice a slight `` hum '' from the wind Without the kayak- after 45 mph, however No Sound at all With the kayak strapped on the rails- getting just over 60mph. Theft resistant Locks completely detach from the bracket so keep them close by. If you are constantly removing and installing, I would suggest marking guide lines near the brackets so you do n't waste time centering the rails over the car each time. Great quality and gets the job done.

Pleased so far with my Thule Wingbar Evo crossbars and Thule Canyon Cargo Basket combo( installed on 2017 CRV) purchased from Rack Attack. Timely delivery, ease of assembly, and installation. One disappointment: three of five bolt/ wingnut combos securing the basket wind screen vibrated loose and were lost on first trip. Contacted Rack Attack customer service and was referred to Thule. Thule promptly mailed replacement bolts, etc.( GREAT customer service rep and response; replacement hardware delivered before we returned from our trip.) Caution future purchasers to add LocTite or similar product to these bolts.

Like it so far- we have a Rav 4 Adventure and had to put the rack in the middle which makes it a little harder to get the Kayaks on the roof. It might have been better if we bought two separate units so they could be closer to the side of the Rav. Also with the support straight up, the bigger Kayak needs to be held until you get the first strap on it. All that said, the rack seem strong and the Kayaks rode well.
