After using both versions, I prefer the finesse shroomz jig head. I find that it's easier to rig with elaztech than this model and gets hung up less on brush etc. That being said, if the finesse size is out of stock but this one is available, I will buy again. It is a stronger hook and would see that being beneficial fighting bigger bass.

I use a variety of weights. Targeting crappie, smallmouth, and walleye. They are a light wire hook. So I would recommend not going above 10 or 12 pound test with a properly set drag.
