I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I ’ m even comfortable in them for an 8- hour shift in retail involving going up and down ladders. Highly recommend for women with C width feet( wider than typical but not quite wide.). I ’ m able to wear thick socks so it might work for someone wide footed as well.

I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. They are not insulated, so don ’ t expect a go to winter boot for long days outside, but great for slushy days and the office. 4 months in I see no quality issues, no water intrusion- granted I have not fully submersed them in water, but no problems for daily Michigan winter use. I have been looking for a boot to replace my discontinued Keen Elsa ’s for 3 years- so glad I finally found these. These are my favorite shoes of all time. They ’ re so warm I only wear thin socks with them. They ’ re more comfortable than tennis shoes with a really great supportive squishy sole. [ Although it was a major hassle buying these boots because my orders for the white color kept getting cancelled, I was finally able to buy the gray color instead and I love the boots. They keep my feet and shins nice and cozy in the freezing Colorado temperatures this winter, and the waterproof feature keeps my socks perfectly dry despite the absurd amount of snow this year. I am so glad I finally caved and bought these! They are so adorable, and so comfortable. I do wish they had a bit more arch support, but that issue is on me and my foot issues, and is also an easy fix. I ’ ve worn them for a solid day now, and haven ’ t had any trouble with the zipper. They do feel slightly larger than a 7, but that ’s fine bc I will most likely wear them with thicker socks most of the time.

I actually do n't own these shoes, but I tried them on in an 8 at the store( I wear 8. 5 but they only had whole sizes) and wanted to say that they are pretty narrow and snug. If I had bought them instead of choosing the Explorer III, I 'd have bought a size 9- 9. 5 just for normal socks. I just wanted to let everyone know they should probably size up, maybe even two sizes! Very cute boots.

These boots are a bit heavy but they are very sturdy and the sole feels grippy. Good quality. the inside is comfy and cozy. I love the side zipper for easy on and off. I wear 6- 6. 5 in regular shoes and usually have to size up in winter boots because I wear thicker socks. I got a 6. 5 and it fits perfectly with enough wiggle room even with thick socks. I have n't worn them out yet but they feel warm!

Have always loved Sorel boots and needed a new boot with good traction because my arches have fallen and feet have spread. Over the years the boots have gone from being roomy in the toe area to more narrow and fashion oriented. I was afraid this boot wouldn ’ t be wide enough in the toe box to accommodate my bad bunions. This boot worked well with a little bit of stretching in the forefoot. It looks like it might be heavy to walk in but I didn ’ t find that at all. Perfect height and easy to tie and so far has great traction on snow and ice. Be sure and order 1/2 size larger.

Thanks SOREL for supplying me with work shoes! This is my fourth pair of Sorel boots. I have worn them for years. These shoes get beat up and worn out. I have gotten rid of one pair, a suede pair, because after years of being in the elements they were not looking very professional anymore- but the shoe was still holding up minus the, understandably, worn down tread on the ball of the foot. The Emelie can be slipped on and off! Totally love this feature in a bootie. I ’ m still breaking them in but the foot shape that Sorel uses fits my “ pizza ” feet well( thinner mid foot and slightly wider toe splay). I sized 1/2 down for the Emelie because the last pair of boots I bought broke in so well that they are a tad floppy now. The Emelie is surprisingly still a tad big with thin compression socks but will be fine once I switch to my winter compressions. Love adding this to my collection!

Super happy I purchased these winter boots. We do n't get snow often but when we do the city is horrible at managing it and these boots are a game changer. Pulling my kiddo up hills in the forest to go sledding, they managed the terrain. They kepts my feet dry, warm and super cozy. I went up a half size and there is still a bit of room for super super thick socks. So I 'd say probably go with your normal size. I am so happy with my purchase.
