These shoes are very comfortable. I 'm so happy with this purchase! First off, the blue colorway is fire and the easy on feature is what I was hoping for. I mainly use these for walking but when I do need it for runs, it feels very secure around the top that I wo n't have a problem with slippage. The Nike app and website was spot on for sizing up for fit. I normally wear a 10. 5 but went with the 11s per Nike's suggestion and it fits perfectly. I bought the UA Velociti Elite 2 after watching many reviews of the top carbon plated racing shoes. I am stoked that I did! I ordered it in a half size larger than my normal size because I have a wide foot. Perfect fit! The upper hugs the foot like a snug glove and the lock down is excellent. The midsole has a generous amount of cushioning but plenty of spring to propel you forward. I didn ’ t expect to like the outsole as much as traditional rubber. I have had zero traction issues and enjoy how quiet the foot strike is. Overall this shoe has a fantastic build quality and is very fast! I am thinking about getting a second pair.

I got these for walking. So far I walked 50km in these and they feel amazing. My estimated normal size is ~13. 2 but since no one makes size 13. 5 I 'm usually either a bit cramped( big toe pushed inwards) in a 13 or swimming in a 14. I got these in size 14 and while they are slightly long, the lockdown around the midfoot is excellent and long length has never been a problem- on the contrary, I enjoy the airy feel in the toe box. The cushioning is just right for walking( or heavier runners)- it's noticeably stiffer than a typical running shoe so I do n't feel like I 'm walking on quicksand. I walked up to 15km per day in these, spending on my feet all day, and there was never any foot pain and my legs felt awesome. Moreover, I risked going on a trip wearing just these, having just purchased them- no blisters! I dig the black/white/gum style as it fits quite well with regular clothes.

This is my first pair of proper running shoes and I love them so far! Used to run in some old Asics I got on clearance, but now that I ’ m getting into running more consistently I bought these. I have very flat feet and collapsed arches, and these were recommended for me because of their supportive centre path tech. The first 5k i ran in these I got nasty blisters on the insides of the my feet where my arch was being held up. If this is the case for you, don ’ t give up on these shoes yet. I wish I had broken them in more slowly but they are super comfortable now. Ran my first 10K in these shoes, something I never thought I ’ d be able to do after having some pretty nasty shin splints and knee pain from playing soccer my whole life. I totally recommend these to any fellow flat footed runner, especially if you ’ re just starting out. I ’ ve taken them on trails, pavement, track, and they feel fantastic.

I absolutely love these shoes! I ’ m prone to getting blisters but that isn ’ t a problem any more with these shoes. They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. I font feel any shock when I hit the ground so it feels like walking/running on clouds. I can not recommend these shoes enough! I plan on using these for race day. I 'll admit that I have always thought Altra shoes were not for me. Between the squared off toe box and the zero drop DNA; I just never gave them a chance. That all changed when they came out with the Experience collection and the move to a mid- drop ALTernative. I have had the ride 17 for several months now and I LOVE these shoes! I enjoyed my previous rides( 15) but I did have several small issues with them and the ride 17s have fixed all of these issues! The ride 15s always felt a little narrow on my foot and they were hard to get on…the 17s fit wider and my foot slips into them easily! I have actually considered going down half a size but I live in an area that gets very hot in summer so decided to stick with my size 7s to allow for swollen feet! The previous 15s had very short laces and I had trouble doing double knots for race day…the 17s have lovely long laces so no need now for double knots! There is now a loop on the back of the heel which really helps with getting the shoe on! And they are. very cushioned as well as being responsive! I have been able to do faster sprint workouts( strides) which is really helping with my confidence for improving my next half marathon time! I have a spring half I am preparing for as well as a fall marathon, and although I would love to move up to a plated shoe( such as the endorphin speed 4) my budget doesn ’ t allow for another purchase right now so I will stick with the 17s.

I also under- pronate and have plantar fasciitis so it is hard to find shoes that do n't make my feet ache. Had to go half size up for a bit more length for toes but not a big issue, I have narrow feet and width is perfect. Haven ’ t ever felt a more comfortable, bouncy, carbon plated shoe. Usually carbon plated shoes hurt my feet after a few miles- these don ’ t. Just feel good to run in and they keep your feet turning over. Only complaint is little hard to get on. Also have the Mach 6 as a daily trainer and love that too. Also have the cielo road shoes- try these they are amazing with peba foam..

I ’ m a great lover of Brooks running trainers and have bought these in anticipation of an upcoming marathon. Have worn for circa 30 miles of training runs and they have been a revelation. The cushioning has greatly reduced stress on my knees. Running in these trainers feels effortless and they are so light that it hardly feels like I ’ m wearing anything on my feet! I ’ ve used this shoe on grass, dirt, pavement, and track, and it performs great on all. I ’ ve used this shoe since July, so I would estimate 100- 200 miles, and there isn ’ t too much wear. The fit of the shoe is great, love the snug feel. Not crazy amount of traction, but the hole in the bottom( where the plate is) can get some mobility out of the rocker. The DNA flash is very soft in the heel, and lessens further forward, giving soft landing and fast release. This shoe can be used of really any distance in speed. Only complaint I ’ ve had is the ankle bump it has, it gave me soreness one time, but never happened again, so it shouldn ’ t be a problem.

Amazing shoe, fast and bouncy but not squishy. Relatively stable considering this is a racing shoe. I prefer them to my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 because I recover faster after a hard workout in the Hyperion Elite 4. Elite 4 is comparably more stable than the Endorphin Pro 4. Excellent upper and ventilation. DNA Flash 2 foam does not stiffen up in the cold. I appreciate the design of the laces and how it makes it harder for them to get undone. Fit is perfect on my slightly wide feet. These shoes do n't get proper justice from some online reviewers and I do n't agree with that. I am really happy I gave them a try and they are permanently in my rotation now until I wear them down.

I relied on the Saucony Ride for easy/treadmill runs and the Endorphin Pro for race day. I retired my last pair of Endorphin Speed 3 after 450 miles but still use them for walks. While the Speed 4 is out, I ’ ll gladly stock up on the 3s if I find them. These Saucony shoes played a key role in my marathon training and race, helping me improve my PR from 5: 07 to 3: 47. Shoes alone won ’ t get you a PR, but they do give you confidence.

With a more durable toe box material and full rubber sole, these are improved from a materials standpoint over the 14. The bright green looks great—quite like the photo, so no surprise there. Fit and feel is about the same as the 14—it ’s a mid+ cushion shoe, on the narrow- ish side of the market. It ’s got a buoyant feel, without being too bouncy or overly squishy. Runs nicely, but I ’ m not wowed by this shoe. I have a low volume foot, and running shoes generally feel a little sloppy on me. While a bit roomy in the toe, the peregrine allows me to lock in my heel and mid foot well enough that I have decent control, but they ’ re no La Sportiva, which fit like a glove. The Peregrine 15 are quite a bit more cushioned than most of La Sportiva, and I ’ m in a comfort stage of trail running, so I ’ m on my second pair.

This is my third pair of Adrenaline GTS. A size 5 is difficult to find and often not true to size for me. I love that Brooks offers small sizes. I was also thrilled to see a bold, bright shoe. Not all women like pink, purples, pastels, black etc. thank you for the bold and bright yellow retro. I ’ ve been needing a new pair but kept holding out for something dazzling this one is! The GTS fits good and seems to have more stability then the 23. I ’ m a casual jogger, lift weights and do Tabatta. The GTS is perfect for all.
