I ’ ve used this shoe on grass, dirt, pavement, and track, and it performs great on all. I ’ ve used this shoe since July, so I would estimate 100- 200 miles, and there isn ’ t too much wear. The fit of the shoe is great, love the snug feel. Not crazy amount of traction, but the hole in the bottom( where the plate is) can get some mobility out of the rocker. The DNA flash is very soft in the heel, and lessens further forward, giving soft landing and fast release. This shoe can be used of really any distance in speed. Only complaint I ’ ve had is the ankle bump it has, it gave me soreness one time, but never happened again, so it shouldn ’ t be a problem.

Amazing shoe, fast and bouncy but not squishy. Relatively stable considering this is a racing shoe. I prefer them to my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 because I recover faster after a hard workout in the Hyperion Elite 4. Elite 4 is comparably more stable than the Endorphin Pro 4. Excellent upper and ventilation. DNA Flash 2 foam does not stiffen up in the cold. I appreciate the design of the laces and how it makes it harder for them to get undone. Fit is perfect on my slightly wide feet. These shoes do n't get proper justice from some online reviewers and I do n't agree with that. I am really happy I gave them a try and they are permanently in my rotation now until I wear them down.

I absolutely love the Guide 18s! I am training for a half marathon, typically run 30- 40 miles a week. The past few months, I 've gone through several other shoes, had lots of trouble with blisters. This is my first pair of proper running shoes and I love them so far! Used to run in some old Asics I got on clearance, but now that I ’ m getting into running more consistently I bought these. I have very flat feet and collapsed arches, and these were recommended for me because of their supportive centre path tech. The first 5k i ran in these I got nasty blisters on the insides of the my feet where my arch was being held up. If this is the case for you, don ’ t give up on these shoes yet. I wish I had broken them in more slowly but they are super comfortable now. Ran my first 10K in these shoes, something I never thought I ’ d be able to do after having some pretty nasty shin splints and knee pain from playing soccer my whole life. I totally recommend these to any fellow flat footed runner, especially if you ’ re just starting out. I ’ ve taken them on trails, pavement, track, and they feel fantastic.

I absolutely love these shoes! I ’ m prone to getting blisters but that isn ’ t a problem any more with these shoes. They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. I font feel any shock when I hit the ground so it feels like walking/running on clouds. I can not recommend these shoes enough! I plan on using these for race day. I bought these shoes 3 weeks ago and I would say they are the most comfortable shoes I have run in. I am a big guy weighing 110kg, but these shoes are so well cushioned that I do n't feel the impact of each footfall in my knees. I have also noticed a significant reduction/absence of the shin splints I used to have. The rockered sole also helps with forward propulsion. I absolutely love these shoes, however I would say breathability leaves a bit to be desired.
