I had seriously injured my leg 2 months ago and my physical therapist suggested I buy Asics, which I did. I 've ALWAYS been a Nike fan though but she said the soles were n't stiff enough. `` One '' of the multiple injuries was a badly broken toe which ca n't be fixed bc its too late. It will take a year to heal, I 'm told. In the meantime, every shoe I 've worn, causes pain... until these!!! I 'm SO happy. These have become one of my favorite Adidas running shoes now- that means a lot because I have every Adidas performance line running shoes. I just got these last week and put in about 10 miles. I like the previous Rise 2, and this one is better in terms of comfort and shock absorption. The previous version was a bit firm but had a good energy return. I will say they take some getting used to if you are used to shoes that have a lot more stability. But I have used ON Cloud and No Bulls that are more stable and still prefer these. The only thing that would make these shoes better is if the material was waterproof and easier to wipe down. But hands down best shoes to workout or even if you are on your feet for 12 hour shifts. Worth the investment.
