I am recovering from a right foot Achilles tendon rupture surgery. I have been in a boot for 3 months. I at first needed a sturdy shoe to wear on my left foot to give me support and a little height to get close to matching the boot height. I already own these boots without the safety toe and love them. These are no different aside of the break- in period. The non- steel toe were like house slippers from day one. These have taken a few weeks of wear to soften up and I am still having an issue with my left boot, but the right is great. They are extremely comfortable and easy to stand on most of the day. They run perfect to size and the steel toe is not invasive like other brands I have tried. I work in an environment that has a number of silicone based chemicals on the floor and it is slippery, but not in these boots! I have not even come close since I started wearing them. I do n't usually buy slip on shoes/boots because I hate it when they slide up and down on my heel. These do not slide. They definitely take a little work to get on, but man do they fit well and stay snug. Being a little more difficult to put on is worth how they fit and feel. So far so good! They were a little uncomfortable at first but after a week there are comfy. I wish the tongue was attached a like higher up the boot so you can stand in deeper water but other than that they work flawlessly! I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. Great fit, easy on and off but stays put while moving around, these are definitely stretch fit, the laces seem to be decorative in my opinion. Materials seem durable so far, I especially appreciate the extra protection around the `` accidentally kicked a pallet corner '' area. The soles feel like I 'm standing on a fatigue mat even when I 'm not. If I had to complain the outer side of the arch support is very high which has been painful for the first hundred hours or so of wear but it's getting better as it collapses. Overall a much lighter and comfortable alternative to the traditional steel toed work boot.

They seem to be a size smaller than normal size. I have always wore a 9 1/2 in all my shoes and boots but they seem to fit like an 8 1/2. Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

They came in looking very aesthetically- pleasing( for steel- toe boots, IMO) and have held up rather well, even though he does n't wear them at work everyday but considering he seems to always be singeing and catching fire to the bottom half of his work pants and/or shoes while on the job. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who's tired of having to constantly replace burnt laces on work boots/shoes... give these bad, and good- looking, boys a try!
