We have both Sec. Camera's. the New 360 is much better than the Defend. the battery life so far has been so much better than the other camera. We like that they are easy to set up and dont require cords and wifi. Spending the extra a both camera's is kind of a bummer, hopefully in the future they can add a multiple- camera discount. Overall the 360 is the way to go.

The defend 360 is a really good camera. The battery life with the built- in solar panel is excellent. I live view and move the camera all the time and I am yet to see the battery percentage go down. The only thing I would ’ ve liked to see on this camera would be the temperature. Other than that it has been quite amazing and flawless. I am pretty much switching to this camera for everything here on out.

I 've been wanting to upgrade my computer from and Edge 520 for a while now and I 'm glad I bought the 850. Set up was a breeze as it transferred all my settings, screens, and even sensors from my old computer through Garmin Connect. I did have to tweak some settings to maximize battery life while balancing visibility. I like to see the metrics while riding, so did n't want the backlight to ever turn off, so I adjusted the brightness low enough to see the screen in the sunlight while keeping the backlight on permanently. I have n't even scratched the surface with all options available. I do n't use the maps very often for navigating because I mostly ride in areas I know. I do like the feature that alerts you when a sharp turn is coming up on the road or trail. The touchscreen is very responsive and easier to swipe between screens while riding than pushing buttons on the side. I 've connected my Di2 so I can use my shifters the change screen and even ring the digital bell. This is a great computer and I recommend it.

We 're in the middle of winter so I 've only been able to use it a few times, but coming from a long stint with the Garmin 530 and a few months trying out a Wahoo Bolt, the new 550 is a big upgrade. Beautiful screen that makes it possible to have a lot more data on your main screen without feeling squished. It's obviously much faster, registering elevation change without lag and booting up quickly. The general complaint with these has been shorter battery life due to the new screen, but I 'm never going to be out longer than 4- 5 hours, so I think the issue is moot for most users. I 'm happy- ca n't wait to pair it with a RearVue 820!

I have had this unit for about a month now, and I am enjoying it. I was a little worried that the brighter screen would kill the battery faster, but the battery has been holding up quite well. I bought this unit because it originally did not pair well with my Garmin 530, but it does a very good job with the new Garmin 820. I am really enjoying the combination, and I do like seeing the two lanes of traffic on the Varia and watching the cars actually go around me and change lanes on the screen. It is pretty nice. Overall, this is a nice unit, and I would definitely recommend it. I am a little confused why they do not put a touch screen on all the new ones, but I guess that helps to keep the cost down. I wish this one had a bike bell, but that is just kind of frivolous. Overall, this is a nice unit, and I am enjoying it.
