I mainly use mine for urban hiking on asphalt with some forest trails thrown in. Comfortable shoes and I never have shin splints after my usual 6. 5 mile walk.

Good replacement for Vaya
I bought this boot about a month ago to replace a previous model I had from Salomon. It was the closest to the Vaya. Feel is great overall, however the size is about 1/2 size too small. Ordered same size my old pair. That is the only complaint. I was a 6. 5 in the Vaya and believe a 7 in these would have been better. They are super light weight, rugged, super water resistant too

I bought these on Friday, hiked a hilly/rocky 3. 4mi on Saturday. My feet felt stabilized, but not restricted. I 'm recouping medial/lateral/posterior tendon issues in one foot and it does n't even hurt after wearing these! Very happy with my purchase.

I bought two pairs of these for a hiking retreat, which was a risky choice. Nonetheless, these boots were comfortable from the start. Interchanging both pairs every other day helped to eliminate blisters. I only left my trip with one painless blister on the heel. I am a 7. 5 and these were true to size.

I do recommend that if you do have a wide foot that you order one size bigger, the shoe fits perfectly to your size Of your feet so if you ’ re looking for a little wiggle room to apply a wool socks, adjust accordingly other than that I would recommend it, and I actually did...

Bought them for the spring season to hike with my dog. So far, there has been no water penetration into the interior boot. Like the fit and very comfortable for hiking. Lightweight too.

Boot wearer
These have been my everyday wear for 8 months, and i couldnt have asked for a better pair of boots. Great fit, comfort, traction, and more durable than I expected. I work in Construction and wear them everyday, I also wear them while hiking, fishing, and hunting. I would say i am on my feet and wearing these boots for 15+ hours a day. I would definitely recommend this boot.

I purchase these hikers for a trip to Caprock Canyons in Texas, and they did not disappoint. Hiked a really tough terrain for over 8 miles, and these were comfortable the entire time. I have another popular brand of hikers, that I do like as well, however, these did not make my feet sweat like my others do, and they were not as heavy as my others, so due to that fact, I love these Salomon X Ultta 360 hikers. The toe box is wide, the build is great. Highly recommend.
