[ This is a very well made duffel. I love the colors, and it appears to be durable which I like. However the opening on the top is shaped in a way that it does n't stay open on its own. It does n't fold over nicely, instead every time you reach inside you have to use two hands, one hand to keep the top open and the other hand to get what you want.

These are great duffel bags! I ordered the red, green, and white ones. I ordered the small size, because I just need it for daily trips to the YMCA f and maybe for a day or two trip here or there. It will hold a pair of shoes and a basketball, my swimming gear, and a change of clothes no problem. I use the shoe garage for a basketball and put the shoes on the other side to get the extra room when carrying both. If you are looking to carry a lot more I 'd move up to the medium size which I purchased at first, but it was just to big for my needs. The small is perfect in my opinion. The red and white bags really pop, but that Oregon green really takes the take. The black option looks ok too, but I just like the other 3 colors better.

I bought this 2 yrs ago for a long weekend trip. I do n't like to check luggage so this was perfect for a carry on. I was able to OVER pack for a 3- 4 day trip multiple times. This is the only bag I use now. I was able to fit an extra pair of sneakers and flip flops in the side compartments and utilized the spot for my 13 '' iPad. The shoulder straps come in key since the bag can fit a heavy amount of clothes.

I do have one little gripe( not with the bag, but the packaging) You guys wrap all of the zippers in tape and paper, I 'm assuming to protect them from getting scratched. Do you know when it will absolutely get scratched? When I 'm trying to cut the tape off. Let them be free! Anyway, I love this design. Could be a duffle, could be a backpack, nice separations for travel. Great personal bag for an airplane. It looks slick. More comfortable of a backpack than the basecamp duffle for sure.
