I purchased this product last year as I was having trouble with knee pain during runs, which was new for me. Totally eliminated the issue. It's been one full calendar year with the same Pro- tec brace and I 'm still receiving the same support. I have washed it in the wash machine, air dry and still great support. My son who is 14 and 6' 3 started to complain about knee pain during his basketball and strength workouts in the past few months. I needed something lighter and not as aggressive or movement restricting as my current knee support in my comeback from a knee sprain. After much research online, I targeted the Pro- Tec Gel- Force Knee Support and have been very pleased with the product. It offers great stability and support for my knee with nearly no restrictions in basic knee/leg movement. It is light and the gel knee circle pad provides extra protection for the kneecap area. I first purchased this over a year ago and found it to be excellent product. It is tight and secure but not tight to stop blood circulation. It has retained the shape after many, many washings. I also had to purchase the Level 2 version after a bad fall and used that for awhile with success as the Level 1 support. Have purchased another as a back up and have recommended this as well as Shock Doctor's ankle support to 2 of my friends, telling them skip the cheap Ace brand which does nothing for your affected area. A superior product!

This product was a lifesaver. Recent knee surgery and had plans to go out of town to a music festival. Never would have survived all the hours on my feet. Brace from physician is total garbage compared to this.
