I used the “ wiffle ” style for years, but got fed up with their fragility, as well as the fact that they don ’ t act like real golf balls do, so it ’s hard to work on spin control. These foam practice balls fly farther and truer than the wiffle style balls, and they really show you where your shot is going. WAYYYY more durable, too- so the extra cost is TOTALLY worth it. Took a flyer with a dozen, then stocked up after I saw how good they are. I played a round using a Taylormade Tour Response with a fat blue stripe, and struggled on front 9. One of the guys in the foursome said `` that ball is making me dizzy '' when I was putting it. So on the back 9 I switched to the Chrome Soft Practice. Felt so smooth off the putter I thought this ball is made for me. Shot my best 9 ever. Bright white too- easy to see. I love them.
