I found it easy to line up, and for a non insert milled face putter it is almost perfect. Firm yet soft. Distance is very easy to judge. I assumed the `` pick your golf ball up '' was a marketing ploy. I roll this putter so well I now know why they made it. Came with a larger than normal grip, but I like it. I know it is n't the new 0- tork, but I could never use the older center shafted putters. Are they not the same thing?? Putting a golf ball is a personal experience. This putter is by far the best putter I 've ever owned. It swings like a well balanced pendulum. Played with a buddy the second time out and was draining everything. After making a 15 footer he asked to try it and proceeded to drop his from about the same distance. It definitely got his attention. I 'm hoping that if it continues to perform like this it will save me 3 to 4 strokes per round. Wish it was a little less expensive but if it lasts me several years it will be well worth it.

I have used this putter for 2 golf rounds. I like the balance of the club head with the larger grip. Ball comes off club very quick, much faster than my old blade putter, which took several holes to adjust how to strike the ball. Like any club changes it takes time to adjust. Once you get the feel of the club I really like using it as the ball goes straight no matter where you hit the ball on the face of the club. It does have a “ ping ” sound when it strikes the ball, and some may not like that however after using it after several holes you get used to it and can use the sound along with the feel on how hard or soft you are striking the ball.

I struggled with whether to get this putter and spend the money. I was pretty good( but not great) with my Ping Tyne 4. This Spider is awesome- really straightened me out and I ’ m no longer missing by mere inches short, right, and left. The ball goes right where I point the putter and intend for the putt to go. It does take some practice to get used to how soft the face is, especially with speed on longer putts but if you put in the time it is so worth it. Have reduced 3 putts per round and confidence is riding high- good bye yips!

Love how the weight of this putter minimizes my tendency to over hit the ball. I ’ m 15 rounds into using it and I can tell the heft chills me out and I ’ m coming up just short or sinking it vs over shooting the hole. Only thing I don ’ t like is the putter cover is hard to replace one handed and any bump in the cart knocks it off without me knowing.

I just received my MT22 putter and am already impressed with it. This putter compares well to all the other milled putters available today. The craftsmanship is outstanding. You know immediately when you have something in your hands that is expertly made and of the highest quality. At address the putter gives me a sense of confidence. When I take a stroke I notice that the shape of the head and it's weight make keeping it in line easy. Then when you strike the ball there is a solid thump and that sensation carries up into the hand giving you the feedback that it was solidly hit. The weight of the putter also helps better judge the amount of force needed to stroke the ball all the way to the cup without putting too much force on the putt. There is just enough toe hang to keep the putter head square through the stroke. If there is one drawback is the lack of options when it comes to the grip. It would be great if this came with the option for an oversize grip. I would not hesitate changing the grip but it is my understanding that Wilson counter balances their putters and I am afraid that changing the grip would alter the great balance this putter has.

I recently did a fitting and got matched up with a bettinardi bb48. No one in my city sells Wilson off the rack so I bit the bullet and bought this one. I definitely don ’ t regret it at all. It really has nearly identical feel and performance as the bb48. This putter is over all really well balanced and has a premium look and feel. The feel is definitely softer but not so soft that you lose feedback. The top line is clean and back really flows nicely drawing your eye to the sight line and it reallg squares nicely behind the ball. The weight is also really well balanced. It doesn ’ t feel too clunky and heavy. Being that I recently changed from an older 330g blade putter I was worried it would be too heavy but this is not the case at all. It has almost a blade feel with the added control of a mallet. My only complaint is that Wilson doesn ’ t have a lot of finish options. I do prefer a black putter but luckily I am able to refinish it at home.

I rolled both the Phantom OC and the Fastback OC. The Phantom felt too much like a LAB DF3 with the shaft going directly into the head and set back.( DF3 was my previous gamer.) Bought this putter 5 days ago and honestly, wish I would have bought it months ago. I am a 15 handicap and putting has always been a struggle for me. Other parts of my game could also use some work but putting seemed to be the spot adding the most strokes to each round I would play. I had a blade putter previously and recently it became apparent to me how unstable and inaccurate I was with it. I was on the fence about getting a new putter but figured an early Father's Day gift would be the perfect time to pull the trigger. And I truly ca n't even begin to describe how much easier putting has become with it. Took it out for my first league round yesterday and shot a career best for 9 holes, one under par, and only had 12 putts the entire round. Made multiple putts over 10 feet and the control and ability to align the putts up seemed almost effortless. If anyone is on the fence about this putter, I suggest going to a store and testing it out. If it is anything like my experience, you will be very happy with your purchase and the performance with the putter.

I know my job is to line up properly and that part still needs some work, but i felt like my swing path was not true and consistent and added to the problem. I have used LAB and Oddessey# 7 broomstick putters. I find the Spider Tour S Long much easier to align and see the intended line. I think it is the alignment coloring and the 90 deg shaft angle of the spider that make it easier to align and see the line than the other long putters I have used that have the shaft leaning forward out of the putter head. The putter is very stable at impact with great feel. I tried adding more weight to the Spider but went back to standard weight because the feel and flow are just great. Shot my lowest round of the year since switching to the Spider because I am making confident strokes since I can see the line so well with the Spider.
