I immediately noticed the angles of the shaft and the face alignment is like no other, the design is exceptional and makes addressing the ball feel like no other putter I have tried. I jokingly told my buddy if I can sink these 6 balls I ’ ll buy it. I threw them out to random areas approximately 10- 12 ft out. I sunk all 6 and happy with this I had to do another test, I randomly set them all out again same approximate distance and sunk all 6 again. That was it I took it home. It took less than five minutes and Ken had me trying mallets style putters.( Not my favorite) in about 30 minutes I was convinced that a mallet was going to be the way to go. Grabbed the usual Scotty, rolled a few with a couple others and then grabbed a PLD Anser 2 that caught my eye. I fell in love and bought it. I own 17 putters and rotate through them, never making up my mind to stick with any one of them... until now. I 've played about eight rounds with it and hours on the practice green. I ca n't put it down. The feel is amazing. I have never felt another putter that has this feel. It's just quality and inspires confidence. It's soft, but not white insert no feel kind of soft. More like how a muscle back feels when you hit it pure, only easy to make great contact. I 'm thinking about listing a bunch of putters on ebay because I ca n't imagine ever putting with anything else. For the first time in 40 years of playing golf, the only thing I feel like blaming for a missed putt is a bad read. This putter is perfect.

Just bought the milled PLD Anser D. I believe that it outshines the Cameron milled putters, and that is saying a lot. It is well balanced and smooth as butter. Its hybrid Anser shape suits my eye and feels a part of me. I feel confident on the greens and that is 90% of putting IMO.

With all the `` busy '' looks of all the mallets out there, I decided to go back to a simple blade. Imagine my surprise when alignment made simple allowed me to free up the stroke and start rolling it pure again. The PLD Anser 30 is pure off the strike and not harsh with the mishits. Love the classic look and feel.

I was n't in the market, but when I saw the naked Answer in the shop( you never see these), I thought someone made a mistake. The shaping is perfection to me, and I do n't want any sight lines, dots, etc. I love the putter... do n't see my backups making a reappearance anytime soon. Good value. Solid, no gimmicks. Got the original PLD Anser 2 and played and loved it for a year or so... i never thought i 'd part with this putter. Just rolled the Anser D. The looks are stunning but I was blown away by the feel of this putter. It's amazing in every way. Graphite shaft is new to me but i am really liking it. I have always loved the shape of the Anser 2. I 've always been comfortable with a blade putter, and have been using an Odyssey White Hot# 1 for 20 years. For some reason mallets were just not my thing. But I recently decided to try out the OG# 7 and could n't believe the difference. It looks great behind the ball and makes it easy to line up the putt. I ’ ve only used a blade style putter but wanted to try a mallet style for more forgiveness and a different length. I needed an inexpensive mallet which this fit the bill. Only been able to try it on a putting mat, however, it feels great like it could be 2- 3x the price. Again hard to compare to my blade( Odyssey white hot og 1ws) but insert is great maybe a smidge firmer then the white hot insert if at all. Alignment feature is great. Only thing to knock is the head cover is very basic/cheap looking but does its job and is a good fit. Have a feeling this is kicking my much more expensive Odyssey out of the bag!

Have only played two rounds so far. However, coming from a Ping Anser2 blade, I am familiar with Ping. They have the putting arc built into the putter for your stroke. First round out I had 33 putts but the ones missed were literally just burning the hole. Second time out I had 29!!!( granted I was'nt on in regulation as much as I 'd like). The confidence I have witht this putter is a refreshing change for me.

I been using this putter for about 8 months and could not be happier. Included weight kit is great. I ended up putting a heavier weight in the toe to slow down face rotation. Craftsmanship and feel are top notch. Mine came with specific mallet head cover and fits like glove with durable construction. Finish does get smudges easily but cleans up like new. Finish has not faded at all. Still looks like new. I ’ m making more puts and the great feel gives a sense of control that is lacking in a lot of other putters. Highly recommend!
