This putter is basically automatic. I also own a Spider Tour X that cost me an arm and a leg more than this Ping Scottsdale Anser 2D and I have to say it is a dead heat as to which one I like better. In hindsight, I would have saved the money for something else and just gone with the Ping. The insert on this is magical, and feel is off the charts. Basically, feels like a softer milled face putter, and the balance and weight is superior to the many other putters I have tried. As always, the design and materlals used by Ping are top notch-- shaft made in Japan( likely by Nippon or Fujikura), head is made in Vietnam, and it's all assembled in the good ole US of A. Ping designs and materials are unmatched. You get more than what you pay for! Who needs a$ 400+ putter when you can snag this at under$ 250?!

Love how the weight of this putter minimizes my tendency to over hit the ball. I ’ m 15 rounds into using it and I can tell the heft chills me out and I ’ m coming up just short or sinking it vs over shooting the hole. Only thing I don ’ t like is the putter cover is hard to replace one handed and any bump in the cart knocks it off without me knowing.

I just received my MT22 putter and am already impressed with it. This putter compares well to all the other milled putters available today. The craftsmanship is outstanding. You know immediately when you have something in your hands that is expertly made and of the highest quality. At address the putter gives me a sense of confidence. When I take a stroke I notice that the shape of the head and it's weight make keeping it in line easy. Then when you strike the ball there is a solid thump and that sensation carries up into the hand giving you the feedback that it was solidly hit. The weight of the putter also helps better judge the amount of force needed to stroke the ball all the way to the cup without putting too much force on the putt. There is just enough toe hang to keep the putter head square through the stroke. If there is one drawback is the lack of options when it comes to the grip. It would be great if this came with the option for an oversize grip. I would not hesitate changing the grip but it is my understanding that Wilson counter balances their putters and I am afraid that changing the grip would alter the great balance this putter has.

I recently did a fitting and got matched up with a bettinardi bb48. No one in my city sells Wilson off the rack so I bit the bullet and bought this one. I definitely don ’ t regret it at all. It really has nearly identical feel and performance as the bb48. This putter is over all really well balanced and has a premium look and feel. The feel is definitely softer but not so soft that you lose feedback. The top line is clean and back really flows nicely drawing your eye to the sight line and it reallg squares nicely behind the ball. The weight is also really well balanced. It doesn ’ t feel too clunky and heavy. Being that I recently changed from an older 330g blade putter I was worried it would be too heavy but this is not the case at all. It has almost a blade feel with the added control of a mallet. My only complaint is that Wilson doesn ’ t have a lot of finish options. I do prefer a black putter but luckily I am able to refinish it at home.

I had bought the Odyssey Ai- One Milled 8 T S Putter about a month ago. I had tested all makes of putters at Dicks and found for me this putter felt the best. The weight and the way the ball came off the face was better than the others. For me I noticed my putts rolled more straighter based on my aim and just the feel was what I liked. Ditched the Scotty. I swore by it until I tried the Odyssey Milled. While not much different it just had a better feel to it. I was able to get it. Few feet closer to the hole with the occasional putt dropping. I ’ ll admit it is expensive but I can see getting menu years out of it like the Scotty. Overall I am glad I took the chance. Only thing I did was go to a Super Stroke grip because I ’ ve grown accustomed.

I have always used traditional- ish equipment. This putter is a tiny bit more forgiving than my old SC. But still has a traditional look and feel. Off center hits I have noticed do not lose speed like other blade putters. They are on to something with the AI line.

I 've historically played white hot putters like the XG# 1 many years ago and more recently Tri- Hot One, but have started to like milled putters as I 've been playing with them more. The Ai- ONE gives me that feeling of a firmer milled putter and more responsiveness/feedback on each putt, while offering forgiveness with the AI- ONE insert which helps maintain speed on those off center strikes. The last thing I 'll mention is the beautiful blue finish paired with the champagne colored insert. This is a really good looking putter.

Slightly smaller in footprint than my Golo 6, feel is very similar — medium, not especially firm, with typical milled putter sound. While not scientific, toe and heel strikes seem to roll out well, comparable to center strikes. I selected the stepped steel shaft, and putter has about 10- 15 deg of toe hang. Waiting for Odyssey to release the weight kits to up the head weight to my preferences. Given the relative small size, I wouldn ’ t consider this a “ forgiving ” putter, but if you like the shape, curved small mallet, this is a great option given the tech seems to really work. Hope the finish holds up because the dark blue finish looks great.

I ’ ve been playing with this putter for the last several weeks and could not be happier with it. I love everything about this putter. The dark blue looks so good and the milled face gives it the premium feel you want. Inspires all the confidence in the world. The milled face is a great feature too! It performs and feels a lot better, to me, than the traditional white hot face. It has a nice little “ click ” to it when you putt that gives more feedback. As for the performance, I can, without a doubt, say that off- center hits actually do hold the distance far better than other putters. I was, of course, just a little skeptical at first. After a few rounds and some practice time, I was astounded how well it handles toe/heel strikes. It has secured a lot more putts for me. Alignment is a breeze and the moderate toe hang is perfect for a slight arc in your putting stroke. Could not recommend this putter enough!

I picked up this putter in the store and didn ’ t miss a putt…literally I made 7 putts in a row, long putts, and couldn ’ t believe the straightness of every single one no matter where on the face I hit it. I bought it and have been so happy with it. The longer putts are harder to judge because it ’s a relatively heavy putter head.

Beautiful product, looks phenomenal. I got the like new version and it came in it's original wrapping( grip was slightly dirty but I 'll take that any day of the week!) Did not come with a head cover which is odd but so be it. Overall very pleased. Feels great in the hands and is performing well in my indoor putting set up.

I just purchased a Spider GT Max last week. I rolled a few putts on the putting green and it is great so far. The new face insert feels better than the older Spider X. I need to experiment with the movable weights in the future but I am very excited. We only use the driver 14 times per round but we use putter more than a half of our score. I applaud TM for making the world ’s first movable weight putter. I share a similar view about the black stepped putter shaft. The KBS CT Tour shaft looks and feels better.

Each putter looks exquisite, very high quality. They are weighted a little heavier than my current putter, and I love the difference. The ball rolls extremely well off the face with a solid feel and nice clicking sound. The milled faces are definitely different than the original white inserts. I ended up with the A1 milled# 1&# 7 today.
