I did not get a chance to actually use the Training Dura Balls until a good month after I received but was excited to finally use them. Although we are a baseball team, these balls helped us work on our hitting. We started with these balls first then moved onto the smaller training balls. The bigger size helped us get the team to focus on lining the bat centered on the ball hoping this leads them to focus on getting their bats squared up with the pitch. We also used the bigger balls to help our fielders open their baseball gloves more on ground balls to ensure they field the ball. I have been watching this Marucci pitching machine for a couple of weeks and searching everywhere for a review with no luck. Today I spoke with a very nice lady at my local DSG and asked about the return policy. I was afraid that like many other products, this would advertise 60 mph and actually do 25… she told me 90 days, just to make sure I saved all the packaging. I got it home tested it immediately with real baseballs and was my target at 46 feet consistently for the most part. I switched to dimple balls and grabbed the pocket radar and I was constantly hitting 54/55 mph at 46 ft on target. I was using a 9 hole target and 18/18 balls hit a pocket!

I chose the Marucci Dura- ball's because I needed something to use to work on my son's and daughter's swing over the winter inside here in PA where it gets cold and snowy. It's difficult to get in indoor swings with baseballs because of breakage, but the Duraball popped off of the bat really well and are easy to throw. We were able to get in a lot of reps because of it to correct mechanics and level out the swing. We worked from the pitch and doing some Tee work. The Dura- ball is easy to pitch and does n't move around like a whiffle ball, the ball easily traveled the length of the gym on good contact. The Carry Bag that it comes with is really handy and makes it easy to keep track of them instead of tossing them in the bucket with baseballs. I expect to get a couple of off- seasons out of the Dura- Balls and expect to use them in the pre- season when we ca n't quite get on the field yet. Overall, I definitely recommend this product if you need to get in swings outside and have windows, other breakable objects or in a gym.

Bought this glove for winter workouts and it has n't disappointed. Taken hundreds of reps with it so far and the leather is firm. I have researched a lot of other pancake gloves and this by far is the best that I have used. There are others that are cheaper but you get what you pay for. This is a Dick's exclusive I believe because it's not on the Rawlings website. Compared to the one on that website it's at a very good price point

These are a great training aid for the baseball player in your life! The weighted training balls are great for hitting. They give quick feedback about when you hit the ball squarely or not based on ball flight. They fly for a limited distance because of their weight. They can be used for tee work or for soft toss.

These balls are great! Due to their weight they allow my son to work on swinging all the way through the ball& finishing his swing. Because they do n't fly very far they work great for hitting off the tee or doing soft toss in our yard.

Top notch weighted balls, they seem to be very durable and will last for a long time, these things are versatile as you can use them to hit( front toss& tee) but I wouldn ’ t recommend throwing from a far distance, you can also use them to warm up the rotator cuff and get those arms going with the resistance from the weight. I highly recommend especially if you are having trouble staying through the ball when hitting, this training balls, will absolutely help with staying through.

I really like these practice balls. I ’ ve been coaching for a few years now and these are great for soft toss batting practice. I wanted to take a picture of us using them, but it keeps snowing here. Balls are great and should last a couple of seasons. I would like them to change the lid on the bucket, it ’s a bit hard to open.

As far as buckets of standard wiffle balls go, this definitely qualifies. Perfect for those days when I dont want to pack up the gear for the park. I was able to take my son out front of the house and work on BP, timing, technique, etc without worrying about balls on the roof, damage to windows, or lost balls. My son loved being out front with his dad and didnt want to stop. He loved the balls and how they felt, and not having to shag long fly balls like at the park. The balls hit my cars and I wasnt even concerned. They were ran over once by a car, no damage. The wind was blowing pretty hard which gave the ball movement but I was able to pitch from 20ft away without concern for my safety which mitigated the wind, but the wind also made my son have to adjust for movement within the swing; also important. We loved them so much I 'm purchasing some more. My son asked to do this on the regular since he enjoyed it so much. How can you argue with that?
