These are my comfiest Ryka's and I own several pairs of Ryka's in different styles. By comfy I mean soft and cushiony. These are not extremely supportive like Hokas which can be stiff. I walk over a mile to and from work on city sidewalks and am up and about all day. These shoes help keep me moving.

The Devoted Walking Sneaker's design is brilliant. At first, you think, what's with this toebox! The width feels just right but the fabric top is oddly roomy with airspace above your toes. The fabric is not stretched tightly, so it's a bit loose. Your toes can move. Toe bumps are n't rubbed. PLUS the heel is snug. So, when you lace up, your feet stay put and do n't shift around. The snug heel plus roomy toebox mean your metatarsals do n't get pinched or achy. ALL THIS, PLUS the shoe bed is super comfortable with incredible cushioning front and back. For me, the cushioning is so good that I do n't even need my custom orthotics for bad metatarsals, something I 've required for 30 years. fyi my other favorite Ryka model for daily use is Devotion X Walking Shoe, which provides a fit that's more tailored with fabulous cushioning, also no orthotics needed. I ’ m in love with these shoes. I wear a 9 1/2 and ordered my normal size. The roominess of the shoe threw me at first, but then I actually wore them all day and loved it. My feet didn ’ t move around or feel unsupported. My feet feel great after hours of walking. I ’ m headed on a trip soon that will involve lots of walking, and these are the sneakers I will be wearing. I love them more than my Hoka ’s and even my favorite Nike sneakers. Ordered the black with the purple and would love to see these in additional colors please!

Seem to be waterproof and they are very comfortable. They do not squeak like my last pair of On so that is a big plug! Able to wear them traveling all day and be comfortable but they do make my feet sweat a lot. The green color is nice but impossible to keep clean. There is a mesh layer that dust and trail grime gets into and then you can ’ t get it out. I ’ ve scrubbed and soaked and they never come clean.

I was confused why some people said these shoes are comfortable vs. others who said they are uncomfortable, until I got the shoes. The shoes are rather narrow, so if you have wide and/or flat feet( like me), they will be quite uncomfortable, as your feet with go over the edge and the soles are very hard, and they have a high arch, and they stab you a little bit on the edge. I was tempted to return them but I loved the look of them so I kept wearing them. They eventually broke in a bit, and become more comfortable. Now I do n't even notice the stabbing, or perhaps it is gone. They fit my feet much better now, and I love wearing them around the house. These are my new and cute house shoes. Occasionally I will wear them out, but I fear about getting them dirty! Anyways, the shoes are great, super cute, and take a bit of time to break in. Also the sizing is a bit on the small size. I usually wear an 8, and I got an 8. 5 and they fit just perfectly. I was hoping to wear thick socks with them but they do n't fit then.

I bought these exclusively for my walking shoes that I used on a European trip. Let me just say that these are amazing! Excellent cushion for all day comfort. The heel cup is deep enough to provide the right amount of stability and the arch support is spot on. I also switched them into my running shoes and it ’s like running on a cloud! I 've been using Superfeet insoles for decades. In ski boots, hiking boots, running shoes, etc. After trying other brands, I 've always come back to Superfeet, with the exception of Sole Performance re- corked medium insoles, but even that's a toss up. Once trimmed, the Superfeet feel good from the start and continue to serve me well for quite some time. I use them for walking distances, standing on my feet all day at work and light hikes. I have other versions of Superfeet, some discontinued, some not, but the winner( for me) is the Superfeet Run Cushion Medium Arch. I use them in Clark's, Adidas and Hoka trail and running shoes.
