I have used Lightning TRSs, Twisters, and Maxxums for the last 30 years. This is the best skate ever for Skate to Ski. It ’s stiffer than other skates so the support is outstanding. The new liner and footbed fit great. It fits so well that I took off the 45 deg buckle. I also put on a frame for bigger 90mm wheels. Great job Rollerblade!

I 'll start with the not great part first. Break in period was tough- probably b/c prior to this, I have n't skated since the Mighty Ducks franchise was in theaters. Once broken in, these babies fit like a perfectly- worn glove and they perform like Kobe in the clutch. Agile, fast, smooth, and supportive, my Twister XTs are BY FAR the best skates I 've ever worn. As good as advertised, do yourself a favor. Stop looking and buy yourself a pair.

The size chart was not helpful. According to their chart I should 've been a 7 but they were took small. It would be great if they had these in store so I could try them on... I love the rainbow style but the laces are too short. I do think they are good basic skates. Especially for those who want more ankle mobility. Loosen the wheels and they ride smooth indoor or outdoors

I do n't intend to speed in them or do some tricks, and so far they are okay for what i wanted. ... They are intended to be used outside, They are exactly what he

It amazes me how much better you can skate owning your own pair of skates rather then renting them at the roller rink. My Grandsons skating improved 100% within one night of skating with these new skates. You figure the average rate to rent skates is about 4. 50 per night. These skates paid for themselves as far as I am concerned and they are comparable to much higher priced skates.

deliverly really fast same skates others sold on line higher and wanted$ 20 shipping also. I was confused because they say mens when most girls now want black instead of white skates. just get 1 size smaller for a girl.

These skates are perfect for my two girls. Nothing spectacular that I would wear for roller derby at my level, but great as a starter pair for a juniors league! Shipping was CRAZY fast! Got them in less than two days!!

I bought these because I needed rollerblades that would do well on uneven sidewalks and/or rocks/pebbles on the road. ... However, 3 wheels are probably better for a beginner/average skater( since it provides better front to back stability), but I wish there was a 2- wheel option for more advanced...

I bought these because I needed rollerblades that would do well on uneven sidewalks and/or rocks/pebbles on the road. I figured with the big wheels, that would help... and I was right! They are very sturdy, comfortable and fantastic quality. The only cons I ’ ve come across are that they ’ re not very agile and feel a little clunky and heavy. I wish they were made with two wheels instead of three. However, 3 wheels are probably better for a beginner/average skater( since it provides better front to back stability), but I wish there was a 2- wheel option for more advanced skaters. Overall though, I am very happy with these skates.

Wanted to get into inline skating as a low impact exercise. Was in my teens last time I did. Running is too hard on the knees. These are great for the price. The wheels are HUGE and great for outdoor skating. I would n't recommend for beginners. Get smaller wheels if you 're just learning. Only downside so far is the straps tend to not stay tight. They loosen very easily. I 'm 6' 6 with 13 size shoe. These are true to size. Wearing these 195mm wheels and I 'm over 7' tall which is a long way to fall. Make sure you get safety gear as these have no brake.
When selecting speed skate bearings, it's important to consider factors such as the material, precision rating, and maintenance requirements. Bearings made from high-quality materials like stainless steel or ceramic tend to offer better performance and durability. Additionally, look for bearings with higher ABEC ratings, which indicate greater precision and smoother rolling, enhancing your overall skating experience.
Speed skate bearings play a crucial role in overall skating performance by influencing speed, smoothness, and control. High-quality bearings reduce friction, allowing skaters to achieve higher speeds with less effort. Additionally, well-maintained bearings can improve maneuverability and stability, making them essential for both recreational and competitive skaters.
Sealed speed skate bearings are designed to keep dirt and debris out, which helps maintain their performance and longevity. Unsealed bearings, on the other hand, may offer less resistance and slightly better speed but require more frequent cleaning and maintenance. Choosing between them depends on your skating environment and how much maintenance you are willing to perform.
The frequency of replacing speed skate bearings depends on usage and maintenance. Regular skaters may need to replace their bearings every few months, while those who skate less frequently might find they last longer. Signs that it’s time for a replacement include unusual noises, decreased performance, or visible damage.
While some bearings can be used across different types of skates, compatibility depends on the size and type of the skate's wheel. It's essential to check the specifications of both the bearings and the skates to ensure a proper fit. Using the correct bearings will enhance performance and ensure a safe skating experience.
