The build was not easy, and took me around 3 hours and you definitely need 2 people for parts of it( i would suggest 2 strong people). The hoop is really heavy even without the sand/water in it, so make sure you are careful when bringing it up and down. Now that it's up and in place, love it. Great hoop.

This is a great basketball hoop and is worth spending the extra money on something more sturdy. It has a good basketball feel to it especially with the backboard and is a perk that the height can be adjusted based on your needs. We 've already had kids dunk on it and I 'm not concerned with it being able to be pulled into the pool. The other nice aspect is the base can be set behind the coping and the hoop itself will still be over the pool. The set up was fairly straight forward. You will need another person to assist towards the end to connect the backboard but its not overly heavy. Definitely recommend!

We ’ ve bought ones in the past that were flimsy or couldn ’ t stand up to my teenage nephews intense summer poolside games, but this one looks like it will do the trick. I do n't know what to say, this thing is awesome! I placed it on my door, which is right across from my window so it gets pretty good light all day. If you turn off all the lights and close the shades, it definitely glows, but would be cooler if it were super bright... like even if you could put a few small batteries in it to make it light up, that would be cool. But I love the color and it's cool that i can dunk on it. the hoop just snaps back, so that's cool.
