I was looking for an ankle brace that my daughter could wear just for added support on the sides only since her kept rolling. She always has high basketball shoes so a lot of the supports add too much bulk in that area and restrict the movement. This is perfect. Now mind you her ankles were just loose and she has n't actually sprained them so we were n't looking for full support, just enough to keep them upright. This brace is perfect since the support is on the side, she does n't lose the flexibility while running. She has been using it for about a month now and no complaints and she really was n't looking forward to wearing anything at all since she has never been restricted with something like this before.

Most of our volleyball team wears these and no busted ankles yet! Put them in the shoe after removing the shoe insole the the insole goes on top of the brace. They stay in our daughters hoe permanently.
