I use 3in and 4in Big Hammers as my go to swimbait on 1/4th and 3/8th ounce swimbait heads. They have a great tail thump/ body wobble that it just right, not too little and not too much. The tail swims on the fall and does it's thing on the slowest of retrieves. I really like the keeled body because it helps it get down to the bottom quick, rather than round body swimbaits that might suspend in comparable situations with a ton of line out or in moving current. They are reasonably durable and they have a great color selection. They are literally the only swimbait I use on a swimbait jighead!

I 've been using Zoom products for several years now and use the swimmin chunk as a trailer on a 1/4 ounce jig and also a 3/8 ounce jig. i usually dip the legs in a chartreuse garlic dye, and most of my jigs are a shade of green( usually a green crawfish) not sure if the bass see this as a bluegill or crawfish; only that it catches fish!! i fish an extremely clear, fairly deep lake so detail is very important.

They will melt on you if you leave them in your hot trunk or hot bag. BUT.... They do hold up well to multiple catches per bait. And hold up well to being dragged across sharp, rocky bottom structure. Just keep them out of the heat and you will be good to go!

There's many options but what is nice about the Madeel the soft plastic is pre- formed with dedicated hook shank guide so there's no need to measure or keep retrying to center the hook or where it protrudes. Sometimes a Tsunami or Hogy eel does not work throw a Madeel and see if you get a hookup. Its' what happens to me all the time when one profile is seen too much another offering produces a strike. The plastic is also formed to the contours of its jighead so you will always get a consistent swim action.

Been using swimming flukes since they came out... have caught bass, snook, reds and speckled trout. Use them as a swimbait Texas rigged with a pegged bullet weight. Use them weightless worked real slow and easy, just twitch them or bring to the top and let them sink back down to the bottom or buzz them on top. This is similar to the Mytsery Tackle Box, which I also think is a great gift. But I am very happy I bought this as a Christmas gift for my father, for serendipitous reasons. Storytime: every May, he and I take a guided weekend fishing trip up to Lake St. Clair. We always bring and use our own tackle, and last trip our guide took us to a spot we had never fished before. It was weedy, and I ended up throwing a weedless jig I had in my tackle box, which matched the color that we always have the most success( e. g. Rapala Blue Ghost color). It was a swim jig, and I added a Powerbait craw trailer. In that one section, I landed a dozen bass in the 2- 4 pound range. It was very weedy with a lot of slop, and the jig moved perfectly through everything without getting hung up, or getting covered in slop with each cast. The problem was that( a) I only had one jig of that type and color; and( b) I had ZERO IDEA of the brand! I spent many hours online afterwards trying to find the exact jib for purchase, with zero luck... until my father opened the Rapala Bass Boom Box. As he pulled each item out... he took out the EXACT jig I used( climax: it is the Thunder Hawk Mouse Head Grass Jig). This shows one of the great aspects of these Boxes: you will get things you might never have thought of trying- or even knew existed!
