We just had a backyard camping, and the blockout tent was great! I love that it ’s so easy to set up and my kids were able to sleep in thanks to the darkening effect. We got some rain, but didn ’ t get wet at all. We were able to fit 4 wide cots inside. I like the screen ceiling, so you can look out to the sky when you don ’ t have the rain fly on, and have light and breeze come through even with the rain fly on. All the windows zip up tight to keep rain and light out. I hope it lasts for many years of camping fun.

[ This is an amazing tent easy to assemble even for 1 person. This tent is put up and ready to go it only takes about 5 minutes for 1 person. Plenty of ventilation and it blocks out the sun. This is durable and water resistant. If you enjoy outdoors and like to camp ypu have to get this tent.

Used for the 4th of July holiday. It was 114 degrees out all 4 days. The tent worked out great. We were able to sleep in until around 8 am because it stays so dark but of course it got hot inside with the extreme temps. Any tent would. We are 100% satisfied with our purchase. Set up and take down is quick and easy. Goes back in the bag included easily. My husband is 5 ” 11 and can stand up all the way through the tent. Worth the$ for us.

[ This is the second tent I ’ ve owned and I love how spacious it is! My brother goes on an annual camping trip every year in July and he found this moderately easy to assemble( with help from the instructions). This is a large tent and comfortably has room for 9 people. It is weather resilient and can withstand rain. Strongly recommend to all the campers out there!

Just took this tent camping for the first time. I thought the blockout technology was going to be a gimmick... BOY WAS I WRONG. it was so dark i literally had to have a flashlight to go into my tent. really enjoyed camping in it. it was easy to setup, easy to pull down. lots of space inside. came with a center divider that was not see through. 2 doors on the `` front '' and one on the `` back ''. I 'm going to be completely honest. I went camping one time and it rained so long and so hard that my tent literally flooded inside to 2 1/2 inches of water. I really would love to be able to buy a full rainfly for this tent to make me completely satisfied. I 'm always skeptical of `` water resistant '' tents. Other than that, this tent rocks and i actually want the larger 12 person or 3 section cabin tent with blockout tech. i think my only gripe is that it does n't have a door matt with it. but that is not always a bad thing, and i understand that. PLEASE LET ME BUY A FULL RAINFLY FOR THIS!

We have been living in this tent for 1 1/2 years in Costa Rica. It is protected under a roof shelter but has weathered many a storm. Zippers work great and keeps the bugs at bay. We are ordering another one just like it.

After researching tents for about two years( seriously! I read reviews on everything out there), I finally decided on this one and so far I could n't be happier with my purchase. I just returned from camping in this tent with two other adults for four nights. We all agreed that it's just the right size for four unrelated adults with all their gear( i. e. friends who would prefer not to sleep 6 inches from each other's faces); for the three of us, it was luxuriously spacious. I sprayed the tent and rainfly with waterproofing prior to the trip. We experienced two heavy thunderstorms and the tent did n't leak a single drop and the overhang of the rainfly even enabled us to keep the windows cracked. While it's not a bathtub- style floor, the seams are double- sewn in a way that makes leaks where the floor meets the wall nearly impossible. We appreciated the spacious gear pouches along the walls; the gear loft overhead is too high in the air to be able to easily reach to put gear up there( the center height of this tent is about 86 ''!) but the lantern hook is great. There are other thoughtful touches in the tent's design, as well, including air vents along the floor and fabric that covers the door zipper to prevent rain leaks. The significant number of windows ensured a well- ventilated tent that was bearable even when getting pummeled with midday direct sun. Set- up takes about 45 minutes; it's not hard but there are a number of steps. I think it will get a little faster as I get more familiar with the tent. I definitely would n't be able to set this tent up alone. All in all, it's comfortable, well made, and kept me dry.

You definitely need two people to set this up, but it is very easy to do. Has plenty of head room. I do n't need the divider but it is nice to have a second entrance/exit. Great having two stake down points under each doorway too.

[ I hate setting tents up and taking them down, but this tent has an easy setup and take down method. It has inside and outdoor lights, you just need a battery for the inside lights. The tent comes with a bag that fits it all inside and it has handles so it's easy to carry. The tent has no issues if it rains. This tent is perfect if you have a baby or toddler, so they can still have their own area to play and sleep or it can fit up to 10 people.

We 've used this tent a few times and really like it. This weekend we had a heavy rain for about 8 hrs and the only leak was where the electric cord came in through the port... very little water. The only thing that could be improved with this tent is putting it back in the bag... it's a bit difficult. Also note when it's packed up it's very long and may not be able to be fit in a car. We have a Ford Escape and had to put the seat down to fit it in.

Super easy to set up and take down, no condensation or leaking( although it has not experienced super humid or torrential downpour conditions), and easy to keep clean. Lights a nice extra and work well. Great glamping tent, as long as you do n't have to carry far. Big foot print, too big for some pads in some national parks

Got my tent a couple weeks ago. Took it out camping last week for 5 days. First night going into the next morning Thunderstorms. Rained all night. Tent performed perfect. Next day was really high winds for about half the day, and again issues. Set up was a breeze. Took seriously like 5 minutes to set up if that. The integrated lights though was the icing on the cake. Never have I seen a tent with this feature, and I do n't think I ever want a tent without it again lol. Totally worth the money.

We just received our new tent and set it up this afternoon. It practically set itself up. My wife and I easily had it set up in about 5 min, her first comment was `` Well that was easy, a lot better then the Coleman '' I 'm anxious to see how fast I can put it up next time, knowing the routine. Our biggest issue was the rain fly, but again knowing the routine it will go better next time. The lights were a definite highlight for my wife, she really liked this feature. One thing we liked with our Coleman that is n't on the Core is the D- shape swinging door. Not really a big deal. We ca n't wait to go camping!!!

I have never in my life wrote a review but I buy based on reviews and I couldn ’ t let this one go. This is a very durable tough build tent. I got caught in a very nasty storm with high winds and this tent stayed in tack and nothing broke or ripped. I had to hold the side wall so it doesn ’ t collapse on us but eventually we left everything in the tent and ran to the truck. That tent took a bitting for 5 hours in the wind/rain and didn ’ t not break. I had some water in the tent but compare to how bad the storm was the water was nothing. The stakes did pull up but didn ’ t damage the eyes, seems held up wonderful, metal poles didn ’ t brake or bend, zippers work, lights work. I thought I would had just to throw it in the trash after the storm but oh boy I was wrong. Great buy and I hope this review helps someone make the decision I did 3 year ago!

We ’ d previously had the 6 person instant cabin which was too small for us. We roll with 2 queen air mattresses and there wasn ’ t room to even stand in that one. The 9 person lighted tent gives us plenty of real estate for our 2 mattresses and luggage and even leaves some space to spare for a chair and kids to play cards on the floor. The lights are a bonus. Set up was a teeny bit more complicated than the smaller tent but I still managed it in less than 5 minutes by myself without glancing at the instructions.

I bought this tent long before the pandemic and have taken it car camping 2- 3 times a year since. Everyone loves how these set up so fast, including me, but putting it away is a bit more work, just FYI. I have found that sort of rolling it up and leaning on it with your body weight at the end works. I do n't think I 'll ever go back to the traditional pole tent set up. Favorite part of this tent is the mesh ceiling. If the forecast is dry, you can leave the rainfly off and look at the stars. After about a dozen times camping, during a windstorm, one of the pole connections broke and we 've had to hobble together a solution, but we 've taken it camping still at least 4- 5 more times since. P. S. It's pretty waterproof, but you really need to stake it well for the rain to go where you want it to. Also, because of the slanted walls, you do n't want your air mattress touching the sides during the rain either.
