I bought this over a month ago and have taken it in a few hikes with my daughter and she loves it. I tried a few other brands but I think that the Thule is worth the price. The only downside side is that there is not water bottle holder you have to use a bladder which on shorter hikes I don ’ t normally bring. But over all it ’s great.

My husband and I have used these for hiking with our Twins since they were 1, now 2 1/2. We mostly use them for day hiking all year around. Our Toddlers try to get into the Carriers by themselves before we are even ready to get them in. They love being on our backs and find it easy to take a nap on our way back down from a summit. Some things that stand out for me; Everything is adjustable, shoulder straps, torso and the hip belt, making it fit your body height and type. This makes carrying a heavy baby or toddler a lot easier. I 'm 5' 3, I 've been carrying my son who is almost 40 pounds. The actual straps and saddle for the child is adjustable to your child's height as well. They have spent 2 3 hours in the carriers with breaks in between to walk around and eat snacks. They always seam comfortable. Storage; Lot's of storage. It fits all our toddler essentials, food, water, plus a heavy camera or drone. Very supportive; padding in all the right places!

My partner and I have been using the Thule Sapling for just over six weeks and we have nothing but great things to say about it! We have a 24 pound youngster who loves to be on the move. We use the pack a least once a day if not more. It's ideal for doing activities around the house, however, it's even better for hiking. This is a very good product, you can tell everything about it was thoughtfully designed. The bars flex just enough to provide a comfortable ride. My son likes it a lot and will hit me in the back to encourage me to ride faster. It does change the balance of your bike and it is a little awkward to load a child in and brace your bike at the same time. A trailer would probably be bit more comfortable but this is less than half the cost. I anticipate this product making a great gift in a few years after I 'm done.

Very easy assembly and lots of storage space. What I do n't like is when my daughter who is 18mthe has her helmet on the area where the head rests against back is A little to up right. So her neck kind of gets turned down. If it had a little more recline to it I think it would be better.

as someone who does n't have a car, i use my coaster XT in all seasons. the big bike tires make it SO easy to get through snow. in the winter, i rig it with blankets in 3 places that seem made for add your own insulation. the on board storage for the front wheel is a must for a mother of 2 who has too many other things to remember. i 've had my coaster for almost 3 years, and it's only just starting to show mild wear. totally worth every cent. thanks Thule!

Picked this trailer up over the weekend and took my 13 month old daughter for 2 ~10 mile rides. She loved it! It took about 3 minutes to set the bracket on my bike and only seconds to hook up the trailer. It rides very smoothly and has a ton of storage space behind the seat. It is very thoughtfully designed and is really easy to break down for transporting it in my vehicle. If you do n't need the capability to convert a bike trailer to a jogging or skiing stroller, The Chariot Coaster XT is a great choice.

Bought the seat for my toddler so we could share some fresh air while keeping socially distant. The installation took less than twenty minutes and taking the seat on and off as needed is a breeze. Riding with my son on the back is as good as can be expected, though standing up from the saddle to get up a hill is not something I can recommend as the seat whips as the bike rocks back and forth.

We bought the Yep Nexxt Maxi a couple months ago for my two year old daughter. She absolutely loves it. The construction is solid and the frame mounting provides a good amount of shock absorption. I really like it too. Unlike the front mounted seat we have before, it has no impact on my riding style and does not interfere with stopping and starting when riding in traffic. The harness is great, but you have to make sure you get it tight around the legs before snugging around the shoulders, or the shoulders can become loose as the webbing around the legs tightens. The foot holders are fantastic. They hold tight during the ride and prevent errant kicking and are east to secure and remove.

We carry a 3 year old( 30 lb) and one year old( 20 lb) with total confidence. Easy to adjust quickly for different size children and they are always secure and comfortable. This bike seat is really wonderful. It was extremely easy to install. It feels really secure when installed, and comfortable for baby. It has a really wonderful adjuster system that allows for your child to grow and still be secure and comfortable. The feet straps AND the magnetic buckles are especially easy. We purchased a second base, and think this is a great strategy to not be tied to one bicycle if you and your partner have a different size bike! The one constructive feedback is it can be a little bouncy for baby down hill because of its attachment. Acceleration and upwards baby is very stable.

We bought this for going on walks, bike rides and snowshoeing adventures. It is very manouverable and packable. Switching between the stroller and bike setup is incredibly easy. The harnesses are comfortable and easy to use. The storage pocket in the back is well worth it. The only improvement I would recommend is the front cover connection. When the cover is correctly aligned over the frame it latches, but otherwise it can slip off. It has n't been a problem for our use, but it is an area where things could be improved. Overall this is the best, most versatile stroller on the market. The attachments are well worth it.

[ Amazing! I came into possession of a very old Chariot Cougar 2 stroller manufactured in 2003( this is before Thule owned the company!) and wanted to make it into a bike trailer. I was pretty dubious that this kit would work with a stroller that's old enough to smoke, vote, and die in the service of its country... but Thule says it's compatible, so I figured I 'd give it a shot. Holy smokes, they were n't lying- this conversation kit is totally compatible! I 'm thrilled. Buy it.

[ Pulling a double chariot is a workout- but oh so worth it! Worth every penny purchasing a second hitch if there is more than one person that may potentially pulling the chariot. Having a hitch on both my bike and husband's bike if a life... I mean thigh saver. Especially, for long rides when after 4- 5 miles my legs are burning and need a break, we can easily stop and switch the chariot over.
