So glad we bought this seat. It worked really well for our toddler. He can still fit in it, and he's 5( but he rides his own bike now). He never complained and we felt he was really secure in it. Easy to take on and off the bike with the quick- release bracket.

I 've had a chance to take this out for three skis with an infant in the Chariot. Felt great to get out on the trails and have the little one sleeping behind me. Pros: The stability of the Chariot is great, and having them up off the ground helps to keep them warmer that a ground- based pulk. Installation is super simple and you can even wax the skis to maximize glide. Also nice to be able to store a few extra things for you or the child in the pulk's ample cargo spaces. Cons: There's no dampening system between the pulk and the skier, so any bumps/accelerations/decelerations experience by the pulk are translated to the skiers hips. This take a little bit of getting used to, but after a bit, is fine. Despite Thule trying to make the system as light- weight as possible, it's still heavy and will only get more- so as the child grows; this makes the uphills a slog( but downhills are awesome!).

I purchased the Thule RideAlong Lite for my toddler. When I tried to install it on my mountain bike( trek with 29 '' tires), it rubbed against my back tire. The description of this part is not good, but it does raise the RideAlong Lite another 3- 4 '' above the tire and solved the problem. This part should come standard with the RideAlong.
