You kind of have to buy it if you have an infant, and I was n't thrilled to spend extra money on top of such an expensive stroller. But it is well made and will be useful for several months until I can transition the baby to the regular seat. I purchased two of these seats for my specialized globe haul LT which has an integrated MIK HD rack. The seats fit seamlessly and can be installed/removed within a matter of seconds. The only note which is not a major concern in my area is that I ’ m not sure of a good way to lock these seats to the bike. If you ’ re concerned about theft it may be worth looking into seats that lock because of how easily these seats can be removed. Other than that, I ’ m not aware of how the seats could be any better!

If you are a runner, and you have the Chariot, this is for you. There have been comments about it being static but if you have ever run with a swivel wheel up front on a relatively heavy stroller, you will know that having a static wheel up front is the only way to go as it's WAY more stable and keeps rolling straight. The wheel features an adjustment for which you can use to alter the alignment. I have seen other wheel not have this feature and over time, you can get a wheel that you will have to adjust constantly to keep rolling straight. The wheel is big enough to get over anything I run over. I do single track trails, road and loose gravel and the wheel handles the obstacles well. If I go into the thick with it, I reduce the PSI in the front so that it's a little easier on the kiddo and when on the road, I keep the PSI high for better rolling resistance. Overall- very happy with the wheel. Only negative remark( which is n't about the product itself) is that it would have been nice to have been included with an otherwise expensive stroller.

I saw somebody gave this a one star review and was curious why. I had to add a review, as I disagree entirely with the one star review. I love that the jogging kit doesn ’ t have a swiveling front wheel. I find it so much nicer when running with the stroller. It ’s more stable, more efficient, and it tracks straight even when running on gravel and dirt. Not to mention much harder to tip over. After running with a BOB stroller for kid 1, and the Thule for 1 and 2, I think the Thule is much better for jogging. The swiveling front wheel is much more manageable for walking and everyday daily use, but it ’s so easy to switch between stroller wheels, jogging wheel, and bike trailer, why not use what works best for what you ’ re doing? It ’s expensive, yes. But after using the stroller, and all it ’s attachments, for 2 years now, I don ’ t want to use anything else.

I bought the jogging kit to use with my Chariot Thule Lite and while I find it awesome to run with on roads and fire trails, I ca n't figure out how to store the wheel and its arms with the little black strap that is provided with the kit. On the regular Chariot there's a boxy- bin on the back of the unit with 4 little attachment points but that is n't there on the Lite. Any suggestions?

This bike seat is really wonderful. It was extremely easy to install. It feels really secure when installed, and comfortable for baby. It has a really wonderful adjuster system that allows for your child to grow and still be secure and comfortable. The feet straps AND the magnetic buckles are especially easy. We purchased a second base, and think this is a great strategy to not be tied to one bicycle if you and your partner have a different size bike! The one constructive feedback is it can be a little bouncy for baby down hill because of its attachment. Acceleration and upwards baby is very stable.

We carry a 3 year old( 30 lb) and one year old( 20 lb) with total confidence. Easy to adjust quickly for different size children and they are always secure and comfortable. I highly recommended this seat for carrying any child below the weight limit.

We bought the Yep Nexxt Maxi a couple months ago for my two year old daughter. She absolutely loves it. The construction is solid and the frame mounting provides a good amount of shock absorption. I really like it too. Unlike the front mounted seat we have before, it has no impact on my riding style and does not interfere with stopping and starting when riding in traffic. The harness is great, but you have to make sure you get it tight around the legs before snugging around the shoulders, or the shoulders can become loose as the webbing around the legs tightens. The foot holders are fantastic. They hold tight during the ride and prevent errant kicking and are east to secure and remove.

Bought the seat for my toddler so we could share some fresh air while keeping socially distant. The installation took less than twenty minutes and taking the seat on and off as needed is a breeze. Riding with my son on the back is as good as can be expected, though standing up from the saddle to get up a hill is not something I can recommend as the seat whips as the bike rocks back and forth.

Has plenty of room for storage and I love the handle brake. It is a bit big for handling and carrying, but it goes through most doors and elevators and fits well in my SUV, so nothing to worry about. The stroller is very sturdy and well- built. It offers great comfort for the child and an alternative for carrying objects. The stitching is of high quality, as are the materials. It travels well on any terrain and at higher speeds. Negative points: the weight and space occupied by the stroller when folded; the handle, when folded, does not stay in place, which sometimes ends up removing the brake from the stroller and also touching the ground.

We were hesitant to get this stroller because it really is quite expensive. But, it is worth it. We live in a rural mountain town and everything is gravel roads or even just extremely potholed pavement roads and this glides over them like it ’s nothing! All the features are pretty flawless. The only thing to note is that it certainly is not compact, even folded, so keep that in mind as I wouldn ’ t use this for a n airport stroller or city stroller. The wheels are so smooth and the suspension is great. Love the brakes and also that the handlebar is adjustable as my husband and I are wildly different heights. We ’ ve been using it for a 2 month old and didn ’ t get the newborn insert and it has been fine, though if we had used it any earlier we would have needed it. If you want to stroll on rough terrain you will not go wrong.

This stroller is insanely smooth on so many different terrains. We bought the bassinet attachment and the adapter for our Nuna Urbn Trvl car seat. We use both frequently. The stroller is very large so we do have a Nuna for more “ city ” activities. it you are an outdoorsy person, you can ’ t beat this stroller.

I 've had a chance to take this out for three skis with an infant in the Chariot. Felt great to get out on the trails and have the little one sleeping behind me. Pros: The stability of the Chariot is great, and having them up off the ground helps to keep them warmer that a ground- based pulk. Installation is super simple and you can even wax the skis to maximize glide. Also nice to be able to store a few extra things for you or the child in the pulk's ample cargo spaces. Cons: There's no dampening system between the pulk and the skier, so any bumps/accelerations/decelerations experience by the pulk are translated to the skiers hips. This take a little bit of getting used to, but after a bit, is fine. Despite Thule trying to make the system as light- weight as possible, it's still heavy and will only get more- so as the child grows; this makes the uphills a slog( but downhills are awesome!).
