I went to a fitting after a good season with the Qi35 but my spin, launch and distance numbers weren ’ t getting better as other parts of my game improved. FF and after seeing some numbers by Roger Steel I asked the fitter about the Quantum trip Diamond. Between that head and new Ventus black shaft,- 1000 Rpm, faster club and ball speed, 10/15 yards further carry. The dispersion was a little wide and I need to work on the contact, I was a tad heely. I might benefit from the Max but I actually liked the slightly smaller head and the miss hits were still in the rough, so it still feels forgiving. When it arrives it ’s going straight to the course.

For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! That first drive was right on the sweet spot. Other drives that weren ’ t quite on the sweet spot were still impressive. Tee the ball high( I use marked blue tees) and you won ’ t be disappointed.

[ Right off the bat I can say I love the versatility of the 3 weight system on it coupled with the loft/lie adjustments you can do. The feel is great with the driver and I love the stock Silver Frost Shaft. It feels very smooth and very controlled throughout the swing. After a couple of rounds in and I am still getting used to it but really so far so good. Despite my early season hook and nursing a sprained back the distance with this has been right on par with my best drives last year. Once I get the kinks out of my back I expect to see some gains over last years averages. If I was going to improve on anything it would be the sound. I think it may be the carbon backed face but it has kind of dull thud and hollow sound to my ear. I am going to tinker with the front weight a bit to see if that changes and to help curb that hook a bit. All in all though I think this is going to be a great stick for me once I have everything dialed in! Update: I ordered the driver at 44. 5 '' and with the CPX midsize grip. As part of the build the weights were used to compensate for this apparently. So instead of a 9g red weight in back I have a 15g one and the front weight is 8g instead of the stock 2g. I decided to go even heavier and changed out the front weight to a 13g and changed the black 1g weight which I have placed in the draw position to a 4g weight. Adding the additional weight makes the driver feel even more solid to me and the sound has become far less hollow sounding and is more a solid thud with a slight ping now. Super impressed with the distance and dispersion I am getting with it. Overall this is a very easy driver to recommend anyone to try. Also, do n't get hooked in by the TD versions always being better for everyone myth. The Quantum Max core was the far better selection for me.

I went to get fitted at GG and the metrics pointed me to the Ping G430 Max. I bought it and played it for a while. But I could hit it consistently on the course. Took it back and traded it in under the 90 day play guarantee. After playing a round with this one, I am in love! Great distance, consistency, and forgiveness. An absolute fairway finder! I 've no idea what I 'm doing with the adjustments, but I feel way more confident when I swing this driver. I upgraded from a Callaway Edge which had 10. 5 degrees loft and regular flex shaft, to the Paradym Ai Smoke Max with 9 degrees loft and stiff flex. I 'm new to golf, started playing summer of 25. My decent hits are around 240 yards carry and I 'm slicing way less with a neutral setting.

I love it!! I made fun of it at first but I demo it at my local PGA store and was so shocked by the performance. It has a great pop to it and I get way more distance. The best part is I found the fairway every time. I traded in my 2023 Big Bertha Callaway driver that I loved but this mini driver blew my mind. My new Paradym Ai smoke Max D was definitely an improvement from last year ‘s model. Being a senior newer golfer with some medical issues, I found that the Max D driver was more forgiving and much improved dispersion off the tee. WOW. I traded in my GBB driver for the AI Smoke Max D Fast Driver but I found it was just too light, and I just did n't hit it as solid as I had hoped. After speaking with the Callaway rep, I swapped it for the AI Smoke Max D Driver( not ultra light- more normal weight) and I LOVE it. I have hit the longest drives I 've ever had on my local golf course. I typically have a fade so thought maybe the 'D' would offset that and make my drives straighter. It is fabulous and you can adjust it as well. I did n't really think a driver would make that much of a difference but this one definitely does. Even if I do n't hit it perfectly, it is better than my really good drives with my GBB. Even my golfing friends have commented and asked me what I changed!

I love my Pings. I got to use them a few times before the cold weather set in. I would love to find someone to help fit them to me and make weight adjustments. If I was to complain about anything it is the grips. When I pull my club out of the bag I slide my hand down the shaft to the grip. My fingers will catch on the grip and flip the grip back a little. I can see that tearing after a while. I will probably re- grip them. It kind of gave me the feeling they cheated out on the grips. That is the only thing that disappointed me seeing this is the most I have ever paid for clubs.
