I purchased the TSi1 driver with the light shaft( 40g), regular flex. The club was to upgrade from my Cobra offset driver. Due to a tendency to produce a fade or mild slice, I have been using various editions of the Cobra offset driver for years. After getting older( 67) I was getting fed up with losing so much distance off the tee to my playing partners so decided to check out some new products that were appropriate for my age and could be adjusted for my swing. I tested the Callaway Epic, Taylormade Sim 2, and the Titleist TSi1 driver on the range at Heron Glen Golf Course in Flemington NJ. I quickly dismissed the Epic, and concentrated on the other two clubs. It was a close choice to be fair but the Titleist produced the straight, repeatable shot I wanted so I opted for the TSi1 which was set up with the hosel settings set to D3. I played my first round with it yesterday, and I am ecstatic about this club. It produced predictable solid drives all day which were on average at least 20 yards further than I was used to hitting the ball. This resulted in using shorter clubs into greens which as expected resulted in better scores. I LOVE this Titleist driver and would highly recommend it to anyone who is now a senior, has always fought a slice, and is looking for more distance. I will be returning for a fairway wood and some hybrids as soon as I have the money!

I ’ m going from a TS3 to a GT2 and it ’s remarkable how forgiving this club is. In virtual golf I ’ m getting about 15 yards more hitting it 275- 280. It ’s cold where I am now and courses are closed but I went there anyway to tee 10 balls off the first tee. 8/10 in the fairway and the other 2 were right in the fringe. For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! That first drive was right on the sweet spot. Other drives that weren ’ t quite on the sweet spot were still impressive. Tee the ball high( I use marked blue tees) and you won ’ t be disappointed.

I am a senior golfer and was previously gaming the Callaway Paradym X 12. 5 driver--- no complaints. However, I like to try new tech and being a loyal Callaway player I decided to try the newer Ai Smoke Fast 10. 5 driver with a lighter shaft- same flex as previous one. First drive off the tee was an absolute beauty. I 'm now almost always in the fairway as the forgiveness is quite remarkable. With a slightly higher ball flight profile I am getting great distance for my moderate swing speed-( 80- 90mph). I love this driver and shaft! Callaway hit a home run with this one.

I received the Srixon ZX5 LS MKII Driver for Christmas 2023. I have been using it for two months and I love it. The all Titanium head has a great sound and feel. I get a lot of carry from the LS model and when the ball lands it bounds forward with plenty of roll out. The driver is plenty forgiving, too. My new Paradym Ai smoke Max D was definitely an improvement from last year ‘s model. Being a senior newer golfer with some medical issues, I found that the Max D driver was more forgiving and much improved dispersion off the tee. I love my Pings. I got to use them a few times before the cold weather set in. I would love to find someone to help fit them to me and make weight adjustments. If I was to complain about anything it is the grips. When I pull my club out of the bag I slide my hand down the shaft to the grip. My fingers will catch on the grip and flip the grip back a little. I can see that tearing after a while. I will probably re- grip them. It kind of gave me the feeling they cheated out on the grips. That is the only thing that disappointed me seeing this is the most I have ever paid for clubs.
