The design looks super cool, with bright colors that stand out. It feels like a bat made for hitting BOMBS! Swing& Pop This bat swings really fast, which helps me get to the ball quicker. When I hit the ball, it sounds loud and has a ton of pop. My hits were going way farther than with my old bat. It almost felt like I had extra power! Comfort& Feel The grip is really nice and doesn ’ t slip in my hands. It ’s also comfortable to hold, even after a bunch of swings. The bat doesn ’ t feel heavy at all, so I could swing without getting tired. It ’s also versatile. No matter whether I ’ m indoors or out, the power is there. In comparison to the Hype Fire, I have felt that the Icon has a bigger and better feeling sweet spot and a more balanced swing weight. The ball flies off this bat like a missile and I believe the Icon is the hottest bat ever! This bat currently holds my record for exit velocity and distance! I got this for my 11 yr old( last fall) who plays rec ball. He really likes to swing a one piece and this bat has been his overall favorite. I do n't want to try and compare it to others but after spending this much$ on a bat, I 'm always looking for feedback from him to know if it was a good/bad purchase. It's so well balanced and his hand/eye coordination are so good, he rarely misses( he likes to strike out looking not swinging). The grip is sticky, and the ping of the bat is deafening. When we 're at the indoor cages, it's really easy to find him simply due to the ear shattering noise this bat makes. He's probably hit 500- 600 baseballs with it on a pitching machine@ ~60mph and there's no damage to the bat at this time.
